My husband and I stayed in a very disappointing apartment in Rome. Sadly we couldn’t cancel and get our money back. The facility was not good to say the least. We are not young and the one important thing for us is a clean bathroom and good hot shower at the end of the day. Both of these things were not good and failed. Some of the walls had mold and they were dirty in the stains on the walls also in the bedroom. The kettle in the kitchen was dripping and full of gravel inside. The kitchen tap also not as it should be. Furnitures in living room have seen better days. The one good thing about this appartment is its location but everything else was very very poor but expensive regardless. I’m happy to pay good money for something that’s worth it. We have traveled 2 and half months in Italy, this apartment is by far the worst place we have stayed in.

3 nights in Rome

If you're looking for an affordable appartment to stay in the prime location of Rome than this is it! Amazing location, all within walking distance to trevi fountain, the colosseum and the Spanish steps. The whole place was clean (apart from inside the shower, the shower seals and shower walls) and modern and even had room for a family of 5. Ryan was excellent who came to meet us (employed by the owner) was very helpful. One thing to be aware of is that the appartment is on the 6th/top floor and is quite daunting to someone who is affraid of heights as you have to walk around a narrow walkway to get the the appartments front door. You will have to use a very small of fashioned lift to take you up to the 6th floor, which unfortunately for us broke down and we had to be rescued from some nice locals.
