Lovely hotel for our overnight stay. Friendly staff, facilities good, rooms clean although decor a little tired, but functional and bed comfortable. Great location for access to city centre.

It was a comfortable and clean room. The only thing that spoilt it was other people being so loud within the hotel during the night - the walls are very thin and you can hear everything.

nice big room with a comfortable bed, tv was on when I opened the door which freaked me out a bit. Bathroom was a reasonable size too, the taps on the bath were quite difficult to turn. The were only 2 plug sockets, one for the kettle above the cupboard but the other was underneath the desk, so you had to crawl to it.

Should do better

Room and bed was comfortable and clean. The barman that also worked in the restaurant was friendly and worked hard and the restaurant itself looked lovely. But the rest of the restaurant staff was not good. The menu was very limited, seen better in a pub. My husband had finished his started before mine arrived, no experience with allergy sufferers-it’s as if there in no qualified chef or staff on site. Will not eat there again if I do stay.

Room was good however the toilet needed flushing when we first went in which was off putting. Discovered we d been charged more than others for our stay although I d booked it well in advance !

Some rooms in the property is in need of a update, curtains ripped, towel shelf had lots of rust, curtain pelmet very dusty with spider webs the room was in need of a update and for £164 for 1 night was expecting a lot more, there was even a bed in outside one of the rooms overnight

Staff were very helpful,”service with a smile “ Parking at the hotel was great . Nice breakfast and we had an evening meal , which was tasty ,reasonably priced and the waitress was lovely.
