Summary:
This wonderful green vacation getaway is completely furnished and powered by a solar electric system. All you need to pack is your clothes! Equipped with a microwave, hot plate, toaster oven, filtered water and fridge (along with an available outdoor grill) for your cooking needs. The Murphy bed always gets rave reviews for comfort and convenience. Step-in shower for safety and ease. You even get your own in-unit washer/dryer. The studio is rounded out with its own mini-split heater and AC unit.

The Space:
This is a guest suite that is part of a larger home. The suite is self-contained with a separate entrance and totally private. Coffee-maker & grinder with fresh coffee and milk frothing machine. Fridge is stocked with plenty of water, soda and beer. Plus, we have recently built a 3rd story deck on which you can relax and enjoy a quiet, beautiful San Diego sunset, or perhaps one of the many summer fireworks shows put on by Sea World. We also supply beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, an umbrella, as well as a cooler to keep your drinks cold, if you want to take a trip to the bay or beach.

With views of Mission Bay & south to Sea World & Point Loma. This is perfect for you to enjoy all the activities that make San Diego America's Finest City. Minutes to our beaches, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Little Italy, Balboa Park, The Old Globe Theater, Petco Park, Coronado, La Jolla, fine dining and shopping. Easy access to the Del Mar Racetrack, Lego Land and San Diego Zoo Safari Park. If you are looking for the perfect location to be right in the mix of things without the hustle-bustle & noise - this is the ideal location.

Guest Access:
You have access to your private studio and the shared grounds of the home, including a roof-top deck. There are 2 studios and the host's home that are all part of this property.

The Neighborhood:
Mission Bay is about the most central location in all of San Diego. Easy access to nearly every beach in San Diego; 5 minutes to Sea World; 10 minutes to the Zoo, Gaslamp, Balboa Park; and 15 minutes to the Airport.

Getting Around:
We always recommend a car to get around San Diego, but we are a just quick 5-10 minute walk to the Clairemont Dr. trolley station if you wish to use transit during your visit and Uber/Lyft are also very convenient in San Diego.

Other Things to Note:
For the safety and security of our guests, there are 4 cameras located on the outside of the building, one facing the driveway, 2 along the walkway, and 1 on the 3rd story deck. We do not permit smoking at this property. No pets allowed.

Beach Equipment: despite the inclusion of snorkeling gear, we do not offer it at our rentals

Interaction with Guests:
I love, love, love helping my guests. Whether is it teaching them how to drive to take their driver's license exam or taking guests to Tijuana for some of the best restaurants on the planet (bring your passport!).

Was told parking would be available. As we are walking out the door to drive to San Diego, we get a message from the owner. You can only have a small compact car. We have a SUV! We had to park up a hill. If I would have gotten this information before I would have never booked. They need to work on their welcome book the internet. password was wrong. Also had to text them about local channels, in welcome book they had them, but after a text they said they don’t. The bed was uncomfortable and there are a lot of foot steps up above. They advertise a beautiful view from deck, a gas station below ! Really, save your money and go else where

Quiet and cozy

The pictures did it justice, it is as it looks in the images provided on the website. The accommodations looked as advertised. The host was very nice and was responsive when I had questions, even offered some of her lemons and limes that were growing on her property.

Just Right!

This studio was exactly what me and my kids needed for our quick trip to San Diego. It was close to all the attractions in San Diego as well as the beaches which made it convenient for us to get more done. Communicating with Aaron and his mother Kathy was easy. This studio apartment was wonderful. Very clean and well equipped. The rooftop patio is the perfect place for relaxing and the outdoor space below has all you need for outdoor entertainment or a trip to the beach. The host was very responsive to any concerns. I would definitely stay here again

Perfect for an Extended Weekend Not for Two Weeks

We stayed for two weeks too small of a living area for two week stay. We wish we would have been directed to another location. Upper deck would be great in better weather it was unusually cold and windy for our first 11 days - so little use of deck and no use of the barbecue area. Housekeeper was available for a change up of linens after the first week and we appreciated that service. We updated a lamp for the owner (at her experience) since the existing lamp was old and loose providing minimal light for reading. We spent our time at Balboa Park and several museums in the area. The owners were responsive to any request.

Lovely Studio in San Diego

I stayed for 3 nights for a work conference. The studio was amazing, truly everything I could ask for on a business trip. There was plenty of space, much more than would be offered at a hotel. I was provided with free drinks and snacks which is always appreciated. The hosts were friendly and alway available. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very helpful. I will definitely stay again if I am back in the area.

Overall great stay! The only complaint we have is my husband and I are sports fans and we arrived on the first day of a NFL game and there are no local channel offerings or sports. We watched on our phones. And the wifi password is incorrect in the room booklet. The hosts on property were being adorable!

Fantastic location!

This place is close to everything. The property is beautiful, safe, quiet, and has friendly attentive hosts. The room has all of the amenities that you need plus some extra snacks. We loved the rooftop patio, it was perfect for watching fireworks.

Loved our stay! We stayed in one of their cute studio. The host and her assistant were so welcoming. They had everything we needed for a beach day. I definitely recommend this stay for a real feel of a San Diego home!

Great Spot Close to the Beach with Awesome Amenities

This property is perfect for those looking to relax close to Mission Bay! There are tons of beach essentials (boogie boards, towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.) available and free of use during your stay. The rooftop patio has awesome views of the bay and is a great place to watch the sunset. The room was quiet and comfortable, with free drinks and snacks, which was a bonus! We will absolutely be staying here again next time we are in San Diego!!
