Upon checking at the hotel, we were not given a room on the dog friendly floor. We requested that both of our rooms be on the same floor after realizing that one room could not be on the dog friendly floor. Upon this request, we were given two rooms on the second floor. We entered our room and it was in complete disarray. The couch was turned up. The mattress was standing straight up at the ceiling. There was a water bubble on the wall the bedframe was torn apart, and it was completely unlivable. The mattress itself was water damaged and brown. When we brought it up to front desk, they seemed surprised and said they would send maintenance and housekeeping to come and solve the problem. When they arrived, they were completely shocked that they ever even given us this room. It was completely unsalvageable. It was only upon complaining numerous times that we were able to get our pet fee and our resort fee waived on this. Nobody was even there to help us move our luggage from one room to another. Mind you we had a dog, a three-year-old and two people. We had already driven six hours from Arizona what made this even worse was that I had called immediately after making the reservation to let them know that we were bringing a dog and they told us don’t worry about it arrive. Service was abysmal the hotel room, dirty parking terrible. There was also rotting food left over in the microwave and fridge in one of our rooms that caused a distinct odor to last.
