I like staying here but certain things bothered such as tv not working correctly. You could hardly get any chanels. The sink took forever to drain after washing your hands or just doing basic hygiene stuff. The refrigerator barely gets cold.

We booked a king bed with sofa bed suite, which included a separate bedroom. The hotel overbooked, and changed our room to a standard room with two queens without notifying us. When we complained to the front desk person, she said in order to help we needed to “lose the tone”. She did fix the situation by giving us a second room. The hotel building are old and the building we were in smelled. Not recommended!

The holiday day inn in San Mateo has been my go to hotel when I visit family in San Francisco. I have met Jessie on each visit and he has been very helpful, professional and ensured I had a quiet room. Hotel was very clean and I could not find any issues to report. I look forward to my next visit.
