I called the hotel prior to staying and said we would be gone for 3 days and asked if there was a charge for leaving our car. The person that I spoke to said no, it was free. The hotel told me otherwise $15 a day. Dont mind paying but would like to be given the correct info

It was an odd hotel - some aspects were great - our guest room was large and comfortable, and there were unusual upstairs common rooms that were light and inviting. However, the fitness room was dark and messy, the entire layout was hard to understand, we asked to check in early, and they said our room was ready, but we would have to pay $30 to get in early. So we sat in the obby for an hour and then they waived the fee. The coffee machine was turned off at noon promptly, presumably to save money. The bathroom light in the guest room was on a timer, and left you in the dark after 15 minutes or so. I have never seen this in a hotel guest room before... The airport shuttle was perfect, just as they said it would be. Since that was the reason we chose the hotel - a kind-of-affordable place that would get us to a very early flight, we got what we paid for. Area prices for airport hotels are now over $1500 a night for a normal room, so we were looking for something less than that.

We reserved using expedia as usual. We arrived at the hotel and the clerk couldnt find me reservation, sinse we needed a place for the night i went ahead and created a second reservation that he couldnt find again. At this point i went ahead and showed the confirmation for.the first one and finally he found it. Then i had to cancel the second one. The room sgow quite ware and tear. The sink was clogged, the bad tub was missing the overflow face and the tiles on the bathroom floor where loose. Definitely not staying there again

Gem of a Hotel near SFO

Hotel Aluxor is conveniently located hear SFO. The rooms are brand new, clean and spacious. The bathrooms are also new and spacious. Staff are knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. Free airport shuttle is a BIG PLUS! Parking and Self-laundry are available. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel, there are so many choices within walking distance. One of the best Korean meals in town called TOFU is 10 minutes away. I highly recommend the Aluxor.

The shuttle leaves at 10 minutes after the hour, but left two minutes early because one must alert the front desk if they plan to take the shuttle. I arrived one minute before departure, but it was already pulling away.

The staff was nice. They charge a $10 early check in fee which I've never heard of. I've stayed in many places and this was a first. Also, we called for more towels and never got them. The room was clean and nice.

This place was a really nice place to stay. The rooms were clean, updated and comfortable. The hotel is in a perfect location for walking to shops and restaurants. We stayed for 3 nights and would definitely book there again next time we are in the Bay Area.
