Every morning at 7:00 heavy construction started next door and it was miserable. They also charged an extra $105 in fees, taxes and expenses. I thought that was all covered with the Expedia charge

We were behind a couple who didn’t understand hotel fees when booking through Expedia and the front desk staff were so patient with them. He questioned everything and did math on a calculator, etc- once it was my turn to check in, they were so gracious! Excellent staff!

The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is amazing. They give you lots of options for breakfast. I didn’t like that I didn’t get any rags until my last day. The beds were not made but the room was clean. I will definitely recommend this hotel and I will be staying again.

The mattress was past its useful life. I had to position pillows to keep from sliding into the center of the bed. The entire room vibrated from the air conditioning system making it difficult to sleep. The shower had neither volume nor pressure making it impossible to take a shower. There was no hot water. There was sewer gas coming from the shower drain making the whole room smell foul. There are no curtains on the windows, only opaque shades, and the morning sun blasts into the room making it difficult to sleep past 6 AM. Attempts to call the front desk to change rooms were futile as no one answered the phone. This is a Hyatt hotel. I expected a decent level of experience, not a 4 or 5 star one, but decent wasn't possible, here. I chose Hyatt because I believed that I could count on the brand to provide a good and consistent experience. It appears that the Hyatt brand is no longer able to deliver. I will avoid ALL Hyatt hotels going forward as this experience was horrible.

Top notch from start to finish. Greeted warmly at check-in, no wait for room. Service was excellent. Kids loved the pool area. The shuttles to beach, OSJ very convenient. Breakfast good. We will be back for sure!
