Noisy and sewer smelling room.

Loud buzzing from air conditioning unit. Asked to move rooms. They said no (apparently sold out). Asked if someone could fix. Also no (too late). Resigned ourselves to staying with earplugs. Used the bathroom. Horrible sewage smell coming from somewhere. Toilet? Sink? Unknown. Called downstairs again. Still no other rooms available. But offered a "discount' of $ unknown. Closed drain pipes and bathroom door to keep stink out of room. In the morning we check out and are offered a 20% discount, bring it to $300 for one night I replied that $300 felt like a lot for a room that smelled of sewage. Told that's the best they can do. Asked to speak to mananger. They give an additional 20% off. Still felt like too much. Photos make it look much nicer than it is. It's akin to a Motel 6. Do not recommend.

This hotel is a short walk downtown but far enough away from all the noise and bustle. The building is under construction but no work was done during our stay. The hotel was clean, facilities were open and easily accessible. The pool looks like it needs attention, many of the tiles are loose or even cracked and much of the grout is MIA (maybe it was never there). The view is incredible from the roof top pool thought! Breakfast was served with polite and efficient staff. The desk staff was a hit or miss. Usually polite but for me professionalism would be to stand when attending to guests, not having cellphones out and active during guest check in/out hours, or being proactive. Also, the address for the building is incorrect on Apple Maps. Had a package scheduled to be delivered but went to the hotel two doors down. After bringing it to the front desk’s attention they had an epiphany that other guests packages went to that other hotel also… when I called to find a lost item the phone weren’t working? Continuously got hung up on… oddly enough, some of the elevators you had to use a room key to utilize, but if you went through the back doors, you can get on an elevator and go to any floor you wanted. The room itself was extremely well cared for, quiet, with amazing blackout curtains. Great water pressure, and amenities you’d need and expect. Plenty of restaurants/coffee close by.

Facade construction very noisy. Walls paper thin. Trash pick-up service in the early morning hours on a weekend. Neighboring guest left their dog in the room alone. Endless barking. Had to crawl under bathroom sink to plug in hair dryer. Pool was TINY and view obstructes by scaffolding. Will not be returning, ever.
