The clean, charming property and friendly staff were excellent, which made our stay well worth the cost. Our room was very clean and beautifully decorated which greatly added to the charm. This motel is a nice short walk from the darling down town area.

Excellent location! Walkable to everything! Ann couldn’t have been nicer! As others have said, furnishings are dated, but overall still a good value. The heating and cooling system and shower were nicely updated. I suggest the carpet be updated next or changed to vinyl flooring perhaps? Would stay again.

First of all, we enjoyed our stay. The owners, who live on-site, were very friendly and helpful. The Sundown Inn is an older motel. It had character. Most importantly, the bed was comfortable and the room had all of the standard amenities. I think my only complaint would be the lack of counter space in the bathroom. I resorted to putting my toiletries on the window sill. We would stay there in the future.

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

The wife and I spent a couple of nights for our anniversary. Our room was clean and comfortable. The closet space is huge and my wife loved the built-in vanity outside the bathroom. It’s conveniently located near the waterfront with plenty of dining options in walking distance. The owner/manger is a sweet lady. Will definitely stay again.
