We had a great stay at the Harbor View Inn. We booked a City Room, 1 King Bed, Balcony, City View. Pros: Our room was a fantastic room. Although a little on the small side, it seemed to be remodeled recently and we enjoyed the newness. The bathroom was also on the smaller side but very nice. The shower provided a nice showering experience, which I love after a long day of sightseeing. Cons: There was no view of any sort. Our balcony looked directly across the street into someone else's room. There was a used bar of soap left in our shower from the last guests. There wasn't really any place to sit and eat the day we got take out. The front desk attendant was not at all friendly when we checked in. He told us how to get to our suite and that was about it. That was the last we heard or saw anyone from the hotel.

Surprisingly good.

Only negative was no one offered to take our bags to room, maybe because we stayed in a separate location from the main building. No house phone in main bedroom, only in smaller bedroom.

This property was conveniently located to many dining options and it was right in front of the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only con was that parking was a little difficult. They do offer a parking option, but we arrived towards the later part of the night and there were only a few compact spaces left.

Would have given it a 5 star, but the amenities are lacking when you’re not connected to the main building. I stayed at the north end of the hotel and there weren’t any snacks or water readily available in the building. For a 4 star hotel, I would better prepare the rooms since much is closed in the area.
