Across The Street From #1 Beach

The Siesta Key Beach Cottage is located right on Beach Rd directly across the street from the #1 Beach in the USA. Walk out the front door and walk across the street to beach access #7 and you are on the white powder Beach of Siesta Key. You can look out the front window and see the Beach Access #7 sign.

If your looking for some lunch after a day at the beach walk out the front door of The Siesta Key Beach Cottage and head right up to the Village. There you will find any type of food you can imagine. If the sun has made you thirsty there are plenty of options to grab your favorite cocktail while listening to live music while sitting outside.

Take the beach cruiser bikes provided at the Beach Cottage and bike down to the north end of the beach. There you will reach an old concrete pier you can walk out on and watch sunset. Beach Cruisers are the best way to get around. Park the car and throw away the keys. Walk or bike around the Key........leave the car at the Beach Cottage!!!!

Cottage Remodeled in 2011 & 2025
The Siesta Key Beach Cottage was completely remodeled in 2011 and again in 2025. Everything inside was replaced with new.....everything. The back pavered deck is enclosed by a wood fence. Inside has white washed painted cypress walls and ceiling. New flooring installed throughout. All new windows. All kitchen appliances we replaced. Quartz kitchen counter. Bathroom has tile floor, enclosed glass shower with tile wall and floor, and sink. The walls and ceiling are cypress throughout the whole cottage. California King bed and mattress. Two flat screen TV's were installed. This Beach Cottage renovation still kept the nautical decor and design and conserved that beachy laid-back feeling to it.
This is not a condo........it is a Beach Cottage!!!!!

Check out our other property ID #964225 only a couple buildings away. This cottage we purchased in 2026 and did a complete renovation. Everything is new throughout the whole cottage.

Spring Break 2025

Everything was described accurately. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Dave communicated everything we needed to know. The only thing you could possibly dislike would be the road noise because the bedroom window faces toward Beach Road but Spring Break brings out activity into and out of the village until the bars close.

Siesta Key Cottage

We stayed at this cottage for a week in March 2025. The cottage was right across the street from the beach and just a couple blocks from the center of town with many restaurants and stores. We didn’t have to drive the entire week; everything we needed was within walking distance. The cottage itself was very clean and well stocked with bath/beach towels, toilet paper and paper towels. There is cable TV in the living room and bedroom. Dave even checked in with us at the beginning and end of the week to make sure we weren’t having any issues with anything. I would consider staying at this cottage again in the future. Overall a much better experience than staying at a hotel since Dave provides beach chairs and bikes to use.

Great access to Siesta Beach

Cute beach cottage across street from beach access. It is a little noisy as is right on beach drive but traffic died down by 10-11 pm. Place is equipped well. Only thing it didn't have that we would have used is a toaster.

Cute Beach Bungalow!

We enjoyed this little duplex near the beach and close to town. Very clean and comfortable! There is some street noise day and night. Our neighbor's dog barked all the time (not our VRBO owner's fault, but still annoying). A few more expected amenities would have made the stay even better: hand towels, shampoo, wastebasket, floor mat needed in the bathroom. A warmer blanket for the bed, and a throw for the couch would have been nice. Nice place for two people. We really liked this place!

Perfect Beachside Cottage with All the Comforts

My husband and I stayed at this cottage for a week, and it was incredible! The cottage is fully equipped with everything you might need. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is just steps away from the beach and the local village, which has a coffee shop, grocery store, ice cream parlor, and numerous restaurants. Even when it rained, as it often does in Florida, it was so soothing to listen to the rain from inside the cottage. We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place!

This was an absolutely lovely cottage. Impeccably clean and retro chic beach decor. The bed was very comfortable. There was excellent communication with the host. It is a 6 minute walk to the beach, via beach access #7. There is a free trolley that goes from Turtle Beach on Midnight Pass Road through to Siesta Key Village on Ocean Road. Siesta Key Village is close enough to walk. Parking can be a challenge in the village, so we left our vehicle in cottage driveway and either walked or took trolley. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off beach sand. There are two bicycles there, which unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of. This was a VERY enjoyable stay because the cottage was cosy and we felt right at home and convenient to almost everything. If we return to this area, we would definitely stay at this location again if it is available. Thank you, Dave, for everything. We appreciated it sincerely.

Amazing Beach Cottage

The cottage was everything that was shown and even more! It had everything we could need and it was steps away from Beach Access #7. We loved the outside patio area and the shower. It was a 5-7 minute walk to Siesta Key Village and some really good restaurants. Also a great coffee shop. It was everything we hoped for and more! We definitely want to make a return trip!!

The CUTEST little place to stay in Siesta Key!

Super clean and very easy access to the property with details from my Host. My host was also incredibly friendly and helpful giving me tips at local places to do things and local places to eat! There is also multiple beach accesses very close nearby. I loved being able to bring my dog Lola with me and it was perfect for the two of us! Thank you so much, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Perfect getaway!

This is the perfect cottage for a couple’s getaway! It was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever rented. It is so tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. It’s right across from the beach access and only a 4 minute walk to Siesta Key village. There were also bikes available at the cottage which we used every day. Dave was a great host and we highly recommend staying at this cottage. We can’t wait to go back!

Cottage Charm

Beautiful cottage. Very well decorated. Clean and Classy. Loved everything about the cottage, the beach and the island. Biked to breakfast and dinner. Made friends on the trolley. Swam with a manatee and just loved the simplistic and charm of a perfect week. I will be back again this year.
