First. Expedia realy needs to identify Love Hotels as opposed to tourist hotels. Second the only "View" at Hotel View was of a Construction site where they started work at 630AM on a Saturday. The room was basically clean, but was dingey and looked like it was last updated by a pimp in 1979. If you are looking for a nice place to bring that special someone who's name you never asked then this is the place for you. If you are looking for a decent place to stay look elsewhere

Room was very dirty & grimy - stained walls, hairs in the bathroom, torn upholstery, etc Extremely noisy as there's construction in front and behind the hotel. Construction is from 730am - 6pm Having paid for 3 nights, I contacted Expedia to see if this could be reduced to just one night & get 2 nights refund. Eventually they managed to contact the hotel.....request denied. Unbelievable they run a hotel like this, it really was awful. Also, no housekeeping. 3 nights, no towels were changed, no trash cans emptied. How do you run a hotel like this???? Stay away. The photo's make it look barely passable. The reality is so much worse.

Excellent price and location. Less than stellar condition but hey, I didnt pay for a 5 star room. Smoke odor not as bad as other reviewers experienced. Good stay overall!

I thought the property was beautiful and well maintained. It's also near Lotte World, as well as many restaurants. Unfortunately, the room smelled strongly of smoke. The hot water for drinking was also broken, but they did provide an electric kettle and bottled water. I would probably stay here again.

Hotel close to subway station

I had a nice stay at this hotel. I went to the counter, they gave me my key and a bag of toiletries. It was a nice room. Quite spacious and clean. Once I check out, you only have to put back your key on the little table in the elevator. That's it! I would stay there again if I had something to attend in Jamsil area only since it's quite far from touristic spots in Seoul !

Great location hotel in Jamsil area

We can access many great restaurants and coffee places, and the hotel is very close to Lotte Mall and Seokchon lake which are so beautiful places. We really like the hotel staffs. They are all nice, and they prepare many kinds of great drinks and ice cream in the lobby. I was surprised that they have valet services.

Interesting

I believe this was a motel for couples if you know what I mean. I got a non-smoking room, but it seems like the entire floor is smoking so you can smell the cigarettes everywhere which I didn't appreciate. Toilet and showers are separated but have semi-clear glass doors so I wouldn't recommend it for families with mixed gender. Not a ton of privacy. However, room was clean, staff was amazing and super accommodating even though they had limited English. Free ice cream and drinks in the lobby everyday! Freaking amazing. Electric heater blanket for the cold season was heaven! Loved it. Room size was good as well. Decent and easy to find location next to Olympic park & mongchontoseong or jamsil station near Lotte World.

Value for Money Stay

Staffs are helpful, accommodating and smiling. They find their ways to meet the needs or concerns of the tourists. They accompanied us to a bank for currency exchange. Also, we receive two umbrellas as gift because it was raining during that time. Unlimited drinks are for free.This is really value worth staying for a cheap price. Overall, they made our stay wonderful!

Good hotel for a reasonable price.

It's a good hotel for friends or couple, not for family since I think it's also used as a motel. The building needs a little maintenance but it's acceptable, clean, friendly staff. The bathroom has a glass door that you can't lock, so if you go with a couple or some other friends could be weird.

外国人にはお勧めできません。

普通のホテルだと思い予約しましたが、ホテル街の一角にありモーテルと変わらない印象でした。浴室には、シャワーの他に浴槽もありましたが、あまりに設備が古く清潔感がないためお湯はりをする気にならずシャワーだけ使いました。携帯を充電が出来るように3本ケーブルが出ていましたが、日本とは、電圧が違うのでそのまま使って良いものかどうか判断できず、 変換プラグで充電するために、 コンセントを探しましたが、見える場所には一箇所もなく、ソファーを動かし、やっと電話のコンセントを見つけて携帯やwifiを充電できました。冷蔵庫の中にあるミネラルウォーターは、1本は凍っていました。いつから入っているんだろう？と思いフロントで交換して貰いました。土曜日の宿泊だからなのか、一泊泊の宿泊料金が翌日宿泊したロッテシティホテル金浦とほぼ同じ金額でした。オリンピック公園には近くて便利でしたが次に宿泊する事は先ずないと思います。
