Overall - I would stay again if other hotels around the area is booked. Did not get any wow moment that made us want to come back. Checkin - fast and easy, but staff did not provide any information about the hotel. Stayed for 3 nights and ended up having to find out info ourselves. Windows were dirty. Not much view to enjoy. Room - we had a double bed on 17 floor. Very small, only shower. Room felt very stuffy and room temp can’t be controlled. Heat still came on even after turning off. Cleaning - cleaning lady on the 2 day and 3rd was good. The first day, forgot the line our garbage bins and we didn’t get bottle waters.

We had a fantastic and comfortable stay at Stanford Hotel Myeongdong. As a family with kids, our priority is accessibility to food. We had breakfast at the lobby, but there is also a convenience store/stand that had snacks, drinks - great for late night munchies. Right outside the hotel, LOTS of places to eat, and Myeongdong street is just steps away. Each floor had a hot/cold water dispenser and self-serve laundry is also available. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Our room was tidied up every day, with fresh towels and replenished bottles of water. Definitely would recommend to anyone going for the first time, especially with family.

Breakfast items were pretty much the same everyday and we spent 8 days eating breakfast. The food quality was average. What I disliked most about my room is the lack of hot water which we didn’t have for a few hours one night and the poor water pressure which was every night. Another disappointment is the front desk denying my request for some plates and silverware so I can put some food to reheat at the 9th floor microwave; they told me no plates and sent me to their manager who was nice enough to let us have some plates at the restaurant. Overall, the best aspect to this hotel is the location.

Great location! Above apple store/ next to olive young/ rimowa/ lululemon and lots of eateries. Great reception except on last day when i left one room card in the room and i had to rush for airport transport and could locate the card in the room despite making a trip back to the room, i was charged KRW 10k for missing room card (no other hotels imposed this fees in my travel history), receptionist could have highlight this upfront if this is strictly adhered to. Other than this, great stay and location of hotel

The location is perfect—close to restaurants, the subway, and shopping areas—but the room is a bit too small for two queen beds. The bathroom also smelled like urine when we arrived, which was really unpleasant. I’ve never had any issues with skin irritation before, but the bedsheets made me itch, and the same happened to my children.

Room was great. We faced the Lotte department store and I was worried about noise but never heard anything from outside. Loved the water machine so close to our room. Also the bathrooms and overall room was very spacious. Also loved there was a bathtub to give the baby a bath. We had breakfast each morning in the cafe and it was delicious. Lots of variety so everyone was happy. Also the staff overall was very nice but especially in the cafe my only feedback is to have bigger napkins in the cafe and maybe no motion dector light when you enter the room. .
My daughters favorite breakfast items at the restaurant.
