Horrible service between Expedia and Holiday inn express, I booked and payed on line. As soon as I come in, the attendant in the front desk wanted to charge me $150 something dollars saying I had not paid. I showed her my receipt and continued to argue that I had not paid. I showed her again and she let us get in the room. About 20 minutes later she comes upstairs looking for me saying I had a balance of $12 for taxes. I look again on my receipt and it has takes included. I called Expedia, they said they would fix it. A few minutes later she comes up again saying what I payed was not their taxes. This has never happened to me before and feel all this is very unprofessional from both parties. I paid the dumb $12 to get this lady off my back and be able to rest for the one night I booked the hotel. I’m glad this is the first and last time I use this place but will definitely start looking at other options instead of Expedia. I feel they should’ve resolved this issue.
