The property location is beautiful and worth it even if it is a bit far from the airport and main action. Staff is helpful in general but front desk is not. We arrived early and since our room was not ready, and there was no reasonable facility to shower and freshen up for a morning out, we accepted the offer to upgrade to a higher-priced Bures which was available. Only to sit around waiting for hours for housekeeping to clean it. The lady at front desk ended her shift and walked away. When my wife went to check with the new staff in charge, she was rudely shooed away. I had to escalate to the manager, Margaret, who did get us the room ASAP. Overall, rontdesk was neither efficient nor nice to deal with. Suggest to get male senior staff to keep the catty women in check and make it a friendly atmosphere. Pizza for lunch at the pool was terrible - not Margherita but just frozen Cheese and tomato on old dough heated up. Just not Hilton standard. Not enough vegetarian options on the a la carte menu - but Penne Arrabiata for dinner was excellent. Sunset River Cruise was a major fail - boat did not startup and we just spent the evening on our balcony. Overall, expect more from a Hilton - looks like it was recently taken over and the staff and menu may be a carryover. Suggest a refresh of leadership and more training to make this world-class and worthy of the lovely property instead of a mediocre local experience.

The DT by Hilton is an exceptional property. Our room was spacious with a wonderful ocean view and a couple of free water bottles every day to top it off. The room was clean and the cleaning service was excellent. We did have a bit of an ant problem but that was handled in a day. The infinity pool with the swim up bar was incredible. The staff was kind and courteous but there did seem to be a disconnect there. We arrived early morning, left our luggage and off to an excursion while waiting for check in time. We came back very tired. We were told that our room was ready but to wait for baggage help. We waited 15-20 minutes always being told help will be her in moments. It never came so I begged them to show us the room as I carried my bags. Similarly, our door lock was hit and miss to open. Mostly miss. It would often take up to 10 attempts before the door would open. Twice we were seen struggling by staff. We called the desk, went to the desk and the staff members said they would report immediately. It was days before the lock seemed to work correctly. I assume something was done. There was no communication. That’s why they lost that 5th star.

Perfect place for jumping to day trips. The beach isn’t great, but the price reflects that. The breakfast was fantastic, lunch and dinner mediocre. Emily from hydrosports really deserves her own office. She made our trip from good to amazing. I’d recommend booking with her if you can find her.

Enjoyable stay

We had a nice stay. Loved arriving and the little boat over to the hotel. The floor of our room was wet when we first walked in so we had to get someone to come and dry it. The pool was nice with good views. Breakfast had a pretty good selection. The staff were friendly. It was probably a little more expensive than what it was worth but we enjoyed our night there.

This resort is ok. Nothing more nothing less. First off you have to take a less than minute boat ride which is not so safe for children in my opinion. No safety or life jackets reassurance. Secondly, the rooms in the resort are nice especially double king room, however, all the furniture and sinks or fixtures have ants coming out like crazy. Which makes the cleanliness poor. I had to keep killing them and complained to have it taken care of but I don’t think it was. Third , this resort is extremely boring! There is no daily entertainment from staff or events. No pool slide, life jackets or toys for children. Only one mediocre restaurant which also has very poor slow service. Breakfast was very disappointing! The same foods were put out daily, presentation was very poor. And pancakes waffles were always cold. The fruit over ripe or too sour. Yuck. Absolutely nothing special and waste of money spending at this resort in my opinion. Can’t even swim on property by the beach.. I wouldn’t recommend more than a night here if you absolutely need to stay in Nadi.

This resort and room were very nice, maybe a little pricy at $530 per night for 2 adults and one 13 year old.The staff were very professional and the service was mostly excellent, but staff were overworked at peak meal times. Breakfast pricing could be more flexible. The fixed price of just under A$30 makes the cost of breakfast for an early teenage girl, or small eaters, expensive. $30 for a piece of toast with peanut butter and a cup of coffee ! The Oolala cruise was exceptionally good with the tour guide being very knowledgeable and most entertaining. Please pass on our compliments to him. Also please pass on my thanks and compliments to the staff member managing the children’s horse riding. our daughter absolutely loved that experience. Overall a most enjoyable holiday.
