Resort ares is nice, rooms are upgraded and clean (at least the one we stayed at). Staff are very friendly and supportive. Resturants food was terrible, small portion and extremely expensive. Resort taxi were expensive. The beach front was not accessible and waater was all mudy... Staff said is mostly like that due to a river that runs in front of the resort.

Long travel and many stays

There was many mosquitoes and they did not supply guests w spray. They told Me to go buy it. Plugs didn’t work by the coffee machine. The workers did not go out of there way to be friendly. Maybe we are spoiled! We had just come from Malolo resort. 2 out of the 3 Hilton’s were not impressive! I know this chain is better than this! Empty your pocket books and upgrade your Hotels and train your people. Call Malolo and see what there doing to be the most amazing resort to make your guest feel like kings and queens. Glad I only had one night here.

Wonderful stay

I had the best time staying here. The team members went above and beyond to make sure my stay was special. Everyone was so kind, remembered my name and validated often to make sure my stay was perfect and it really was! I even got a few surprises like coconut water at my door with flowers. I only had the breakfast buffet but I was more than satisfied with the variety offered and the taste. The pools and grounds were maintained daily, as well as the room had I wished for it (I didn’t need daily housekeeping personally) I just wanted to rest but had I wanted to do activities, there was a desk where guests could choose from various options and going back to the mainland was possible and accessible whenever we wanted. Being a solo female traveler, I had a problem with a male guest who made me feel uncomfortable but management took this very seriously and dealt with it. I felt very safe. Very grateful for my experience and vacation.

. I wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to the entire team for making our stay so smooth and comfortable. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unforgettable, and we truly felt cared for throughout our time at the resort. A special thank you to Chef Harsha for his incredible food and warm hospitality. The meals were nothing short of spectacular, and we truly appreciated the effort he put into every dish. We also want to extend our thanks to Una, Choppe, Sai, and Max (the coconut tree climber) — all of whom left a lasting impression on us with their kindness and genuine warmth. You have such heart-touching people on your team! We have a small suggestion: It would be wonderful to see fresh juice options like papaya, mango, coconut, and fresh lemon available in the restaurant daily. Many of the guests, particularly from Australia and New Zealand, don't have easy access to tropical fruits, and I’m sure they’d appreciate the refreshing addition of fresh tropical juices. Lastly, while we loved the overall experience, the gardening area could be made more attractive to enhance the overall ambiance. Overall, it’s an excellent resort, and we will always look back on our stay fondly. Thank you again for everything!

The staff was excellent Pataya, Kesa, Sunny, Aporosa and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made this trip bearable. The property needed work! THIS ISN'T A BEACH FRONT PROPERTY. There is NO beach on this property. The property also had BEDBUGS; yes I said it. We were switched from one room to another! Food was doable, but not the best! The entertainment only happened on 1 night of the week, which was Saturday. Activities; there are none. Most of the activities in Fiji aren't on the main Island. The transportation service for the hotel are contracted out and these guys are absolutely HORRIBLE, they tried to over charge us until I complained. One of the driver charged us $280 Fiji dollars to take us to the beach, stop for lunch and back. When it only cost $50 Fiji dollars for 2 people to travel to and from the airport using a meter taxi. I have stayed at other Double Trees stateside but this by far is the worst one ever!!!

Family two night stay

The room was spacious and clean with comfy beds. The pool was fabulous. Beach is not suitable for swimming which came as a surprise. Staff were on the whole friendly and helpful. If you go horse riding beware as my daughter was bitten mercilessly by fleas.

Nice accommodation, breakfast buffet was the best! . Pros : breakfast buffet is so good! One of my top highlights. Air con in my room. Cons : outlet plugs didn't work in my room. Walking distance from my room to the pool/restaurant was quite a walk and tiering. Boat ride to & from the hotel to my car was exhausting especially coming home from a night out, had to wait a while for the boat to pick us up. Would've loved to park up & go straight to my room without the extra wait & boat travel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. Wish we could swim till midnight as night time feels like the best time to be inth pool without the hot sun beaming. Vinaka Double Tree.

I am with place. However, i have ecperianced difficulties with the booking agent expedia. The banglo was advertised as ocean view but the ocean view is restricted. Also, confusion regarding the package whether yhe breakfast was included.

I loved the property, it was comfortable and clean without being luxurious. The breakfast was fantastic but I only tried one evenings buffet and it was lovely. The beachside tevu restaurant was excellent and I loved the room service. The staff were all wonderful and I would definitely be back!

As a couple who simply wanted a place to relax, DoubleTree was excellent. Tavu grill restaurant had the dinners we wanted - seafood. Vulani restaurant provided breakfast and lunch for various taste buds. The pool bar had deals such as 5 for the price of 4 = fjd $40 so that's not outrageous. Staff were simply superb. The bungalow overlooking the ocean is perfect for us. Only coffee/tea facility in the bure. Huge room. We will be back to this tranquil resort.
