Two best things about the bed and breakfast- the location was great and so was breakfast. The two ladies that worked at the house over the weekend were very sweet and pleasant. Now the not so great things, while understand the house was old we’ve stayed at other older bread and breakfast in Saint Augustine but Peace and Plenty felt more run down than others we stayed at. It could use a few updates, a new paint job is some places and a good deep clean. Also, a small bar of soap in the bathroom would be nice. Overall it was ok but not sure I would stay again.

The little apartment was charming, comfortable, and well appointed. My only gripes are that the microwave turntable didn't work and although stained glass is beautiful, it allows bright light in at night and is too high to reach for covering. If you don't want that, don't stay in the top floor of the carriage house!

Overall, a nice property with very friendly staff, but they could use a little attention to detail. The nightlight in our bathroom did not work when you turn the light on for the bathroom. It was like a strobe light effect needs to be replaced. The ceiling fan in the bedroom when you turn that on the light also had a strobe light effect. Finally, that is a thinnest toilet paper I have ever seen or used in my life. I didn’t know they could make paper that thin! Location was great and for one night it was fine

Stayed in “carriage house” tiny, dreadful, dirty, shower had what seemed like black mold in the sealant didn’t take a shower. Air con unit in the bathroom, place smelt damp very uninviting and there was bits of mud around the bed frame as well as the bathroom sink area hadn’t been Cleaned. They had a bag to soak up odors hanging in the bedroom Save yourself money and stay elsewhere

This property is absolutely charming! The staff member working during our stay (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name since we checked in late) was incredibly kind, knowledgeable about the area, and attentive to all the guests’ needs. Our room was adorable, though it was a bit warm—probably due to the AC unit, which might have been our fault. The area was peaceful and very walkable to the Historic District. We’d definitely consider staying at this bed and breakfast again in the future!

The Peace and Plenty house was so pretty. I especially liked it at night with the lights on. The location was great, you could walk to just about any attraction or restaurant you want. The bed was comfortable with very soft sheets. We stayed in the balcony suite #4. I loved sitting out in the mornings with a cup of coffee and the evenings with a glass of wine. Overall the place was nice, the staff were friendly and the place was peaceful. I did feel that the breakfasts could have been a little more creative and there were areas in the room that could have been cleaned better. There was toothpaste splatter on the ornate mirror frame in the bathroom, there was a jacuzzi tub, but I couldn't find a switch to turn it on, the toilet paper holder kept falling off, there were no lotions, shampoo or creme rinse provided and the tissue dispenser had 2 tissues. I requested clean towels and some tissues after 2 days. I was told they would get them but I got neither. I realize these are small inconveniences but I do feel they could improve to get a better rating.
