This rental is conveniently located to all of the best spots in the historic district. You are within walking distance to everything. I must have missed it in the listing, but this unit is located on top of a coffee shop. I was shocked to walk in and see the coffee shop was full of customers, we never would have known upstairs that there was so much activity under us. The road noise is more intrusive. A sound machine, which was provided, is key for cutting some of that noise out. But noise is to be expected when you are located in the heart of the city. By the way, the coffee is great downstairs. The unit itself has such charm. It is tastefully decorated with historical touches. The wrap around balcony adds to the spaciousness of the unit. The couch is different than the one in the listing, it was not comfortable at all. Especially, after a long day walking a comfy couch would be nice. The queen bed in the unit is an old mattress that has a deep hole in the middle. It caused some back issues the first night sleeping on it. I switched to the king bed the next night, that was better. The cleanliness of the unit was just ok. Some of the dishes had food crusted on them. The maid must have used the same rag to wipe everything down because there was a lot of hair on the counters, on the face of the refrigerator and coffee tables. It's not a deal breaker but maybe something to address with the cleaning service. Overall, we would return here again based on location.

Great place - walk to downtown

Really cute place- well appointed. Above the new Southern Grounds coffee shop where we ate breakfast each morning- so good! The only thing late sleepers should be aware of it’s on a busy street so street noise could be a problem. It wasn’t for us and we would gladly stay there again for the convenience.

Historical Neighborhood

Loved location of our rental. To our surprise a super cute coffee shop - restaurant opened in the lower level just one month ago. The only detractors was it was on a busy somewhat noisy road. They did supply ear buds and sound machine. Perfect for 2 couples!

Perfect for Weekend Getaway

Stayed for a fun family weekend in St Augustine. Perfect location to walk to all activities. Home is cozy and perfectly decorated. The kitchen is large and has room for extra seating. The bathrooms are well appointed and the showers were huge. Parking was easy and there are several local restaurants close by. It was a little noisy at night given the central location, but would certainly stay again.

Location location location

What a gem! The place was immaculate, beautiful, roomy and comfy with all amenities. Loved the location and nice little extras. Best deal in St Augustine. As others reported, road noise is definitely present but bedrooms equipped with sound machines and it does quiet down eventually. Definitely would stay here again.
