Summary:
Keep it simple at this quiet, peaceful, centrally-located apartment. This gorgeous apartment is a second story unit that overlooks a beautiful courtyard where you can sit in the morning with your fresh coffee or tea and enjoy the nature.
Just a 5 minute walk to the City Gates at the beginning of the world famous St. George Street to enjoy all of the restaurants downtown or you are just a block away to coffee shops and restaurants to enjoy a brunch with friends and family.
The Space:
This is a second floor apartment where you have a dedicated off-street parking space to park your car and you won’t have to use it for the rest of your stay. This unit is just a 5 minute walk to the beginning of St George Street (City Gates) and also a 5 minute walk to Francis Field where they hold many events throughout the year.
You can walk to all of downtown and enjoy everything they have to offer and then walk back through the oldest neighborhood in St Augustine so it is filled with beautiful Victorian homes that line the Matanzas River. When you get back home to enjoy this serene space and the peace and quiet on the enclosed porch that overlooks the courtyard that is full of flowers and wildlife.
Guest Access:
You will have one off street parking space and you will have all of the second floor apartment to yourself.
You will receive a 4 digit door code to access the unit two weeks prior to your arrival along with other information to ensure you can enjoy all of the amenities we offer with the stay.
Other Things to Note:
General questions:
We welcome your pets/fur babies! However, please note there is a one time fee of $100 to ensure the unit is spotless before you arrive and after your stay for the next guests.
1. The coffee maker is a Keurig that has both the single use pods and for those of you coffee lovers there is also a carafe for drip coffee. All in a single machine.
2. We supply ground coffee, either Gevalia or Community Coffee Co. We have stainless steel reusable K-cups for the pod users, but if you prefer a flavored coffee or anything like that we recommend you bring your favorites along with you.
3. We have a Brita water filter that is mounted to the end of the kitchen faucet so you have a flip the switch and you will have filtered water to drink.
As for the WiFi, it is 1 Gigabyte speed (fastest available) and you can connect by tapping your phone on the block of wood with a WiFi signal on the front. If that doesn’t work then there is a QR code on the back that will connect you and if all else fails then you can find the user name and password on the back of the same block. Tapping your phone on the block is newer technology that is new to a lot of people.
We don’t require anyone to start laundry or specifically clean anything. We just ask that you take great care of our place and if you want to help speed up the cleaning process you can start a load of towels and washcloths. This way we can have it ready sooner for the next guests just like the previous guests probably did for you. It’s just like paying it forward, but that is completely up to you.
