Spacious, Unique, and great location

Lots of room in this multi-level purple house, interesting glass and other decorations. Clean, good beds, plenty of towels and linens. Expansive collection of coffee makers. . And of course the beach is steps away. Host responsive. Bring own bath soap.

Purple Shark rules!

Unbelievable decor in this beachfront beauty! The sunrises are spectacular. The beach is perfect. The house is spacious with four levels and lots of stairs. There are actually four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Everything works well, except the side door lock was finicky. The garage entry was easy. We did buy our own bar soap and coffee. Will definitely rent here again.

Great Location

Very modern, attractive multi level home right on the ocean; rooftop allowed for wonderful sunrise and sunset views. Updated kitchen with great appliances. Less than 3 miles from downtown St. Augustine. Two great restaurants to try; Fishcamp and Caps.

Purple shark stay

My wife and I found this house to be a very beautiful, upscale, well decorated home, with a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Fireplaces are a little deceiving because you have to provide your own ethanol gas in order to use them. Also, there is no jetted tub as advertised. We stayed seven nights at an all inclusive cost of 597 per night and the toilet paper provided is what you would find at a roadside rest stop, at best. No paper towels or Kleenex are provided. So bring your own quality toilet paper, paper towels, and Kleenex to make your stay more pleasurable.

Vilano beach

Nice stay on beach to see sunrise and felt out of way of crazy tourist stuff in historic downtown St. Augustine but close enough over bridge to go do the tourist stuff. Many stairs for 4 levels so if you’re ok with that you’re good. With that and all the glass decor maybe not the best for little kids. Otherwise nice and modern. Enjoyed stay.

Purple shark was amazing!! Very clean nice modern new exactly like the pictures advertised! Amazing sunrises on the beach just perfect and the rooftop was amazing!! The house has everything you need!!

Purple House

This house is so complicated with fancy stuff, even the property manager didn't know how things worked. Our friends arrived as we could not make the trip, on Thursday 9/5/2024. Master bedroom door was leaking after thunderstorm. Floor was wet. TV and Wi fi did not work. the property manager seemed to fix it but it went out 1.5 hours later and never worked again. The maintenance people came to fix the leaking door on Friday 9/6/2024. they ended up messing with the mattress which was an air filled one, lost air on one side. Had to move bedrooms. Coffee maker did not work in kitchen. Rain head in master shower did not work. no coffee supplies and no fireplace supplies. Was allowed to use elevator after asking for permission. Not a kid friendly home either. Very nice breakables in this residence. Don't know if previous persons who stayed in this home messed all this up. Property was not ready for our visit. Needed work done prior to our friends arriving.

We spent 4th of July at this listing. Walking into this house was breath taking... it was beautiful, view was amazing, everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you so much and it was a bonus for us to enjoy the fire works from the rooftop!

Ridiculously amazing!!!!

You won’t believe how amazing this place is until you see it for yourself! The pictures don’t do it justice. The location is perfect if you want to be near Vilano. The beds are comfy. The showers are great. The decor is beautiful. There are views in every room. The kitchen is well stocked as well as beach chairs. We can’t wait to go back. Pure heaven!

Amazing Place to Stay

You can’t beat this property. The location is amazing and the accommodations are high end. We enjoyed lounging on the decks with the amazing views. You wake up to the most beautiful sunrise. It’s exactly as shown and worth every penny. We put a Yukon XL truck in the garage and it fit.

Exceeded expectations

House was very clean and exceeded my expectations. The house is beautiful and well stocked with appliances and entertainment to keep the family happy. Short walk to the beach and a very laid back beach environment makes for a very relaxing stay. The host Luann was also very quick to reply to questions/concerns and made our stay stress free and enjoyable. Plan to stay here again very soon.

Place was amazing. Has a great time. Even though nice, the VRBO pictures and descriptions don’t do it justice. Place is super cool and so relaxed right on beach. Perfect getaway for our family with teens.

Amazing beach property

We absolutely enjoyed our stay @ the purple shark! We arrived during a wind storm with 50mph plus winds being right on the beach was pretty wild we went inside really couldn’t hear or feel the wind at all , the purple shark is sound property!Absolutely no issues with house We found are way around the house and was blown away awesome set up and user friendly We spent almost week there and every day was special waking up to the sounds of the ocean and sunrises ,walks on the beach and sunsets on the roof deck over looking St Augustine amazing!!! Hallmark Christmas family getaway

The “Purple Shark” is THE best rental property I’ve ever stayed in - hands down! This was my second stay at the beach house. The first was a girls trip and the latest was a three generation family trip. The house was perfect for both! The views, access to the beach and downtown are unbeatable. The house is immaculate and well equipped. We just got home today and are already ready to book our next trip!

Beautiful Oceanfront Home Perfect or Family

Clean, spacious rooms, beautifully decorated, complete with everything you could possibly need. We flew in to Jacksonville from out of State. This lovely home was perfect for a weeks stay. It was completely stocked with everything required to fix any meal, with towels for showers and beach, with several beach chairs, an umbrella and even a nice portable awning you can set up on the beach. There were also two paddle boards you could use in the ocean. The chairs and tables on the decks were in great condition. We had room to park our car in the garage. The elevator was very useful to bring up groceries or suitcases. The AC worked perfectly. We used the washer and dryer to wash a load of laundry. Louan was always quick to answer any questions and does a fantastic job of managing this wonderful home.

Great location and beautiful home

The owner was great with communication. House is beautifully decorated and the location is right on the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked for home made meals. Beds were comfy. Our only complaint is with the neighbor who was angry/aggressive at anyone who came to park, even if it was in the driveway of the home. Overall, we would gladly return for another stay here and it was a great visit.

Fabulous!!!

Hands down the most stocked rental we have ever stayed in! So so many extra added touches. The views were breathtaking. Coffee on the porch watching dolphins in the morning. We came for Father’s Day followed by orientation at Flagler for our son. It was such a great family time and so many memories made. Thank you thank you for sharing this wonderful home…we will be back!

Perfect Getaway

Upon retiring I wanted to stay in a beach house with my family- This 3 day retreat was absolutely perfect. The ocean was just steps from the house! Views from the house were amazing. The accommodations were absolutely perfect for what we needed. High end kitchen appliances and good local restaurants nearby made our trip an unforgettable experience. There were plenty of extra beach chairs and umbrellas in the garage! The pictures on the website are beautiful, but the actual house- location is more amazing than the photos! (if you can believe that!) There is more included than what is described in the VRBO ad. The rooftop seating area was a really fun place to gather. Thank you for this unforgettable weekend!
