The Blue Parrot restaurant was in walking distance and the food was really good for the price. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but nothing we couldn’t deal with for 2 nights
Although the property is a bit dated, the staff and location more than made up for it. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this place to anyone.

Cable was a constant iffy. Internet service very poor. Would not stay again.
The Buccaneer Inn is in a great location. It is right on the beach and has a sitting area between the hotel and the beach. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. St. George Island State Park is a short drive down the island. The hotel itself is an older, no frills hotel. The employees are very friendly and helpful.

The room was like 2 different rooms. Looked renovated when you walked in. And then the back half was a tiny outdated tub/shower/toilet. It was super clean.
You could hear people outside and above us. But the price for staying on the island ... and just needing a place to shower and sleep .. you cannot beat it. I just wish the toilet wasnt on the floor and the shower closet was a little bigger than a small closet
We enjoyed our stay in room 120 . I gave 4 stars because the bathroom really needs updating the toilet was very loose and it caused it to make a noise when you sat down it’s not connected to the floor so they need to fix it when they can other then that the room was great and no complaints .

Perfect couple getaway simple beach
The hotel isn't fancy but it was exactly what we were looking for. We had great beach access in a calm beach town. We could walk to food and beach shops.
If you want to make it nicer for yourself bring pillows and a great blanket.
