Nice place, but…

We arrived after having excellent communication with the owner. Unfortunately it was just getting dark when we got there. The only lights working outside, by the pool were solar lights. They had not been charged by the sun that day, so it was quite dark. The one actual wired light that faced the pool was out. The owner acted as if she had no idea, but when her handyman came over the next day, he said that had been on his list of things to repair the next week. So, she lied. After checkout and heading home we realized a pillow had been left by one of the kids in our group. I immediately reached out asking the owner to please send the pillow case to us via mail, and that I would cover the expenses of that. She said no problem and no worry to pay, she would have it sent. Then, nothing. I have reached out an additional 3 times with no response. I thought I would, but I absolutely will not rent from her again.

Not enough space to list all the problem! Refund Please!

Your VRBO I don’t know when you were last in your VRBO but it needs some serious attention. Perhaps you depend on someone else to be your eyes but there are issues with many things. Mostly cleanliness. I can start with checkin- the website says 3pm you emailed 4pm. The photos were quite creative and did not show how cut up the house was. 2nd bathroom was not even close to the 2nd bedroom, therefore you had to walk through the living room and down the hall to reach it. The home was so “cut up” that some spaces were virtually useless. I stumbled more than once on the different levels. There were loose wires, exposed breakers. The bedroom door in the back bedroom squeaked loudly every time you opened or shut, and you had to slam it to get it to close. The sliding doors out of the back bedroom were filthy, loud and did not move freely. There are several pieces of the blind missing leaving an open view from the outside straight into the bathroom. The mirrored sliding closet doors in the back bedroom were also filthy, rusted and with the threshold filled with dirt and not covered with threshold cover. The back bathroom was also full of ants. You can find them on the floor, sink and stool. I lost my watch and while looking for it under the chair in the back bedroom I discovered a disgusting pile of garbage in the chair! The pool was so overly full of water that the skimmer did not work and the pool was covered with a film of dead bugs and gnats. Linens, towels, toilet paper we

My home was being worked on and I wanted to stay within our neighborhood (which is a quiet and family oriented neighborhood). This home is spacious and clean! The pool is very refreshing. We really lucked out. The owner was very quick with communication. I will be using this property in the future for my family from out of town to stay in. Highly recommend!!

Short Vacation

Overall this was a great experience. The house just needs Tv's in the other rooms. This rental made me realize that when you check in you must walk through the property and take pictures of any damages so you don't receive a message saying you are being charged for something your group didn't do.
