The property was just as described, and we would highly recommend it.We enjoyed BlueHen Bungalow in Gulfport alot! Gulfport is a cute little town & walking distance from the location of the house with some restaurants, coffee shops and more.Beds were very comfortable bed and loved the new couch and the pool was perfect even though it rained quite a bit during our stay but still enjoyed it tremendously! gGood communication from the host as well. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Check-in and check-out were stress free. We were able to go, and walk right in, after receiving our welcome instructions. The house was very clean, and had a great starter supply of everything you need, with some happy extras. The pool was wonderful, and all the appliances were in great state of the art shape, as well as a beautiful new sectional for lots of wonderful space. And, we really appreciat d Bonnie!! We had two college tours while we were there, and one requested a print out of our email last minute to use for a parking pass. Bonnie made it happen with no issues, and so pleasent. The area has lots to do, and St. Pete beach was a skip over the bridge.

Cute Bungalow but Property Mgmt Non-Responsive for Bug Problem

The bungalow was very cute and the online description was accurate, however, we had a problem with an infestation of baby caterpillars in the second bedroom the first night we were there. I contacted the property management company right away, but we have checked out now a week later and still have not heard back from them. All I wanted was a someone to get rid of the pests, but we got some Raid and took care of the problem ourselves. The backyard and pool area is wonderful, and we spent many happy hours in the pool. My main complaint would be the lack of responsiveness from the property management company. The area itself is okay although you don’t have to go far to feel like you might be in a sketchy part of town, but we had zero problems. But honestly, they would’ve received five stars from me had it not been for the bug problem and the lack of responsiveness. I would stay again!

The house was nicer than the pictures. Everything was spotless. The pool was our favorite spot. Also 20 steps to a really cool downtown with great shops and restaurants the beach in Gulfport was still closed due to the hurricane. Treasure island is a ten min drive We would love to stay here sgain.

Schönes Haus mit toller Lage

Das Haus war genauso wie beschrieben. Es bietet durch den großzügigen Wohnbereich ausreichend Platz sich bei Regen auch mal im Haus aufzuhalten. Auch der Außenbereich war sehr schön. Die kleine Überdachung spendet ein bisschen Schatten oder Schutz bei einem Regenschauer. Das Haus hat eine schöne Lage, so dass wir abends immer gerne noch eine Runde durch die Hauptstraße bis zum Steg gelaufen sind. Auch die Kommunikation mit der Agentur hat reibungslos geklappt. Bei Fragen erhielten wir immer schnelle und freundliche Antworten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wonderful Home

This home was perfect for our family. We loved having slow mornings and enjoying the pool and spending our evenings at the beach in St. Pete. The short walk to Gulfport to enjoy food, ice cream, or spending time was on pier was a bonus. We hope to return for our next beach vacation!

Great location

This bungalow is so cute and comfortable. The back yard space with the pool and fire pit was awesome. It's clean and well maintained. It's in a great location. Walking distance to downtown. We had a great stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Family Vacation Spot

The property was great for our family vacation. With it being deep in summer the pool made it even better especially for our grandsons. It was a very nice & quiet neighbor hood, nice parking room, plenty of household items to keep up after yourselves, & a short walking distance to Gulfport beach. The beach has a park and local shops & bars as well. This is our 2nd year in a row to this area (one block apart).

Beautiful place to stay! We loved that we could walk to all the bars/restaurants/ coffee shops in Gulf Port. House was clean … pool was perfect. We usually try to stay in different places each vacation but it’s hard to not come back here next year ! Will definitely stay here again in the near future!

Great Location, Pool, & Layout

Overall this is a great place to stay for families or two couples. The house is a short walk to many of the shops, restaurants and bars in Gulfport. The pool is great and the layout of the house, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, makes it easy for two couples to share or easily a family of six using the sleeper sofa in the front porch area. The decor was fun and very tasteful, and the kitchen area provides enough room to easily cook for a family. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, making it a wonderfully restful retreat.

Two weeks in paradise!!

Loved (almost) everything about our star at the Blue Hen bungalow. The location couldn’t be beat close to everything.. restaurants, music and the beach! Place was roomy, immaculate, fully stocked kitchen, lovely back yard to relax in. Only wish I knew the pool wasn’t heated.

Perfect house and pool

We absolutely loved our house. The space was clean and cute and beachy. It felt relaxed and casual, but still very nice. I think maybe tranquil is the right way to describe it. The pool was really just the best. We were in it, or by it pretty much all day. And we were so happy with the location. All the Gulfport shops and coffee shops, and restaurants were less than a block away - we walked everywhere! Every one of us would go back in a heartbeat.

This was everything I wanted in a vacation!

The rental was perfect. The location was just a few blocks from wonderful restaurants and the beach. It was great to relax in the pool at night. Weather was perfect with a wonderful breeze.. Gulfport has a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Great Spot for a Relaxing Vacation

We enjoyed the property a lot. The pool area was a special treat. The house had everything we needed. The location is perfect. We especially liked walking to the main street to visit shops and restaurants. Shout out to the Gulfport Brewery. Be sure to stop in! We plan to return in 2023.

Communication

Communication with owner or relator was awful. Requested a pool heater twice and was told it was my responsibility. Have fun trying to get a hold of someone to do this.
