Great Location, house was hot, and one employee made a comment about my body in the house.
I stayed at this house two weeks to quarantine before my mom arrived two weeks later. The check in process felt safe during this time. I knew I would have to wipe everything down but there was splatter on the backsplash in the kitchen and the microwave had food splatter in it. I don't mind sanitary cleaning but not actual cleaning when I arrive somewhere. In addition to me having to clean, I arrived and the house was 76 degrees inside with no flow in the bedrooms. It took me a week to get a window unit for each bedroom. Week two it was 89 degrees in the house and I was sweating while I was sitting and sewing in the house. One of the employees Izzy who already was not diligent about wearing his mask around me which I didn't feel comfortable with and had already asked property manager to make sure everyone coming in to work on the house wore one, everyone else did besides him. As he was leaving the house he stated to me that at least I looked good in a bathing suit. I am a single female by myself in this house. I immediately texted Allison and told her the situation and that I felt very uncomfortable with it. She never once acknowledged this encounter. I chose this place based on it being dog friendly and close to the beach. The idea of trying to find somewhere new to stay at this time was not an option bc then my mom would not have been able to come. I never thought if a place said they had ac I would need to ask if it worked. Not something you want to spend time on when you're on vacation. Yes the location was great and the size of the house was perfect but the other issues would were not acceptable. I would not rent from this company again.
