Beautifully decorated hotel, quiet and safe. Walking distance to everything. The only issue we had was one of the single adjustable beds did not work. The room was an upgrade for my VIP status. We notified the front desk of the problem and were told they were aware and they can send someone the next day to check on it. Wouldn’t work for us on our one overnight layover. Overall, we would stay again!

Hotel was in a lovely, safe area. Close to the metro, and just minutes to anywhere you want to go in the city via the metro. The metro is also very easy to use. Hotel was lovely! Will stay there again.

We've stayed at a lot of hotels and this one was a favorite. Friendly helpful staff, excellent breakfast and good location with many dining options. The only thing I would change is the frosted window between the sleeping area and the bathroom as the light makes it hard to sleep during middle of the night bathroom breaks and for privacy reasons while taking a shower.

Lovely hotel with everything you need, staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff were great too and food was delicious! Bathroom was quite small but room size was just right. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff is wonderful, great buffet breakfast to keep anyone happy. The bathroom did have some mold build up in the caulk around the tub and the bed had a bad spring in it witch you had to try and sleep around. Besides those two minor things it was a great Hotel and would highly recommend.

Birger Jarl was quite nice. The breakfast was great. The staff was personable. The rooms seem small. Our superior king room was about the size of a standard room elsewhere. Overall seems good value for money considering its location in central Stockholm.
