From the moment I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional service that continued throughout my entire stay. The hotel's location is perfect, sitting right on the waterfront with stunning views of the city. The modern and stylish decor creates a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. My room was impeccably clean and equipped with all the amenities one could ask for, including a comfortable bed that made it hard to get up in the morning! One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. The selection was impressive, featuring local delicacies, fresh fruits, and a variety of options to suit any diet. It was the perfect way to start each day before exploring the beautiful city of Stockholm. The hotel's staff went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met, from providing recommendations for local attractions to swiftly accommodating any requests. Their genuine hospitality truly stands out and made my stay even more enjoyable. I also loved the on-site restaurant and bar, which served delicious dishes and innovative cocktails. An interesting week long stay at voco Stockholm Kista, spoiled by some very poor customer service during our trip. Rooms were fine, and we made regular use of the pool/spa facilities (booked daily through app). Public transport to central Stockholm was efficient, regular and easy to use. However, we had numerous problems using the restaurant and bar - we only used the restaurant on first evening as very limited menu with many things not available on the day, bar/drinks menu pricing was misleading too (e.g. spirits priced per 10ml measures without notification on the menu, with the bar serving their 'standard' measure as 40ml, i.e. 4x price stated on menu). We were charged the extra rate for breakfasts on check-in as it had not been included in our booking, but were charged for seven days, despite requesting 6, as we were leaving very early on the last day. I was notified on check-out that it would be refunded, but would take a few days to show on my account. No refund was issued, and after numerous exchanges, by myself and through Hotels.com, the refund was still refused - thankfully Hotels.com made the refund themselves. All in all, while the stay in Stockholm went well, for future visits, I would not choose this hotel again.

Big hotel, small room

My stay was ok. The hotel was far from city center. However, there is a train station about 10 minutes away which was very secluded at nightime. There were no restaurants nearby and the one in the hotel closed at 9 p.m. The room was very small. There were no fitted sheets on the bed. Only the regular sheets and a comforter. There was no electrical outlets in the bathroom. There were no hand cloths to shower with. There was no ice bucket in room. There was no microwave. The tv did not work well because the channels were frozen.
