Good location near harbor and Opera House

It appears that this hotel room was converted from an original studio apartment. It was clean with the exception of older dirty carpets. It needs to be updated to more sanitary vinyl plank simulated wood flooring. The location is good, within walking distance to the cruise lines and Opera House. The hotel located in the center of The Rocks nightlife venue eateries and cafe's. Overal, I would recommend this hotel, but bring evening comfort footwear to keep your feet clean.

The front desk people were so nice and helpful. Although the property could use a little updating my room was very clean and comfortable. You can’t beat the location in the Rocks area. Easy walk to the cruise port. I plan to stay there again.

This is our 4th stay here. Fantastic location, easy from train to walk, close to where the ship comes in. This time our grandson (3) was ill and we couldn’t get in till 3 (check out is 11), they got us in before lunch time. It was such a great gesture as we really didn’t know where to go. Thank you again

Needs a lick of paint, but great otherwise!

Let’s face it, the premises are well past needing a lick of paint and some repairs. That said, the location is superb, the staff are polite and helpful, the rooms are spacious and well equipped, the bathrooms are big enough with great hot water. This was a return stay, and we’ll probably stay here again when we pass through Sydney. PS - situated right near the cruise terminal! A short walk to the bridge and opera house.

We enjoyed our stay at the rendezvous. It was very handy to the overseas ship terminal handy to restaurants, pubs, etc. The room we had was lovely very clean just starting to show a lot of age signs. Lots of the exterior of the building was chipping with paint. Uniforms of staff were disgusting. They need to be properly Maintained to be at the front desk. . We would stay again. We did love our room.

Basic but clean studio rooms, but very helpful and friendly staff. Location was excellent for exploring the city as well 10 minutes walk to the Opera House and 12 minutes to Marrinawi cove for swimming. Next day we loved an easy 2 blocks walk down the hill with our luggage to the International terminal for our upcoming Princess cruise!

The receptionist was very helpful. We left our luggage and went sightseeing! Collected later and went to room to find something from the 1970’s. The carpet was horrendous! Worn and dirty! The bathroom was very outdated! The air conditioning was operating but very noisy. We had a King size bed but it kept moving apart! The balcony was quite small but adequate. The view was very good and we spent a while looking out at the Opera House before retreating after being bitten by god knows what.

Variable! Lovely staff and the bed was extremely comfortable. Location brilliant. Reception looks smart but does not represent the rest of the property which is tired and dated. The window in the kitchen doesn't have a proper curtain (just a transparent blind) meaning it's impossible to make the room dark. Plus builders outside could see in and out. Carpets were not nice and paintwork chipped. Pool was dirty and jacuzzi missing lots of tiles. After a renovation I'd highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel when booked in advance is good value for money and if cruising you can roll your bag down the cobblestones to the port. It is in a tourist area so everything is expensive and usually busy if a boat is in. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave us an upgrade without being asked for
