Rydges Australia Square has recently been refitted from the old Tank Stream Hotel. It is modern, clean and the staff were very helpful. The check in process was done online but easy to manage. There is a restaurant with good dinner options. We enjoyed dinner there. They have breakfast available plus a cafe that doubles as a bar at night. Such a great central location and close to Wynyard train station. I stayed in a twin room. The room is small but comfortable and nice and modern as it has just been done up. We had a room with a window facing the street. There are also rooms that are centrally located that face an internal void.
