Mukautettu rakennus hyödyntää hiljaista ja viehättävää ympäristöä, tämä lomamökki huokuu maalaismaisen kodin tunnelman kaikilla kodin mukavuuksilla. Pääkerroksessa on avoin elinympäristö ja suuri kansi laajentaa kodin pituutta ja tarjoaa vielä enemmän tilaa lämpimille kuukausille.

TIETOJA ALUEELLA

Sijaitsee puolivälissä Homewoodin ja Meekin lahden varrella Tahoe-järven länsirannalla, ja löydät Tahoman, hiljaisen ja keskeisen Tahoe-kaupungin. Todellinen paeta kaupunkielämän kiireisestä tahdista, Tahoma tarjoaa pääsyn viehättäville rannoille, lähellä retkeily- ja pyöräilyreittejä sekä Tahoeen vanhimman järven etupihan ja ravintolan.

Kesäkuukausina vieraile Kamarin Landingin yleisellä rannalla alle 10 minuutin pyöräretkellä tai vain kolmen minuutin ajomatkan päässä kotisi. Hiekkaranta sijaitsee Chambers Landing Barin ja Grillin vieressä tai pysähtyy Tahoma PDQ -markkinoilla ja poimi piknik-louna matkalla järvelle. Suorita etelään Sugar Pine Point State Park -puistoon, jälleen alle kymmenen minuutin ajomatkan tai pyörän kautta, nauttia hiekkarannoista, retkeilyreiteistä, kalastuksesta ja piknik-alueesta.

Hiihtokauden aikana voit vain muutaman minuutin päässä Homewood Mountain Resortista. Tai matkustaa vain kaksikymmentäviisi Squaw Valley ja Alpine Meadows, kaksi premier Tahoe hiihtoalueilla. Yksi hissilippu tarjoaa pääsyn molempiin lomakohteisiin, ja Squaw / Alpine Express tarjoaa vuoristokuljetuksen 20-30 minuutin välein.

Awesome trip

This place was great. Two adults/ two kids plus their friends. Loved the hot tub and the hills out back for sledding. Fantastic location right in Tahoma. Beds super comfy. Will definitely come back here again.

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time at this cabin which was very comfortable and clean. We cooked every night and appreciated the good kitchen cookware and barbecue. The hot tub was lovely. We appreciated the reminders about watching out for bears and not leaving any doors open because we saw at least one bear near the property every day. What a truly warm, welcoming cabin!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was fabulous and very relaxing. We came to Tahoe to be together and memorialize my mom This home provided plenty of space yet togetherness also. We even had a friendly bear greet us for 2 nights. Think she wanted our salmon. The area was quiet and backed up to the forest so hikes and mountain biking were very easy. Would stay again

Fantastic stay

It was a wonderful stay. We received all the necessary information promptly and were able to check into the house without any issues. The house was clean, and the amenities were in very good condition. The Jacuzzi was heated and also clean. We felt comfortable throughout our stay. When we arrived, there was a technician on-site who reinstalled the internet/Wi-Fi. After that, everything worked perfectly. Additionally, four new flat-screen TVs were installed simultaneously. Fantastic. I had initial doubts because I had read negative reviews about Tahoe Getaways. However, those doubts were not confirmed, and I would book through Tahoe Getaways again anytime.

Power outages No hot Water and no Heater

check in March 1st went well and we where all happy to have this place for our Family to stay together. Around 10pm that night „Friday“ we had Power outage and it last till Sunday 11:30am. That day „ Sunday „ we chose to leave, because one more day to Stay with out Electricity and hot water wasn’t really pleasant. We have had our staff packed up together and where about to walk out the door as Power came on which made our Stay joyful for one more day, our check out was through Monday which was March 4th of 2024 by 10am. We had no plow service from Sunday through Monday, to be able to check out and leave the property at 10am we have had shovel our self free out. The driveway was full of snow about 4ft of it.

Toboggan friendly cabin

We really enjoyed staying in this cabin. Not only was the cabin very comfortable, but its design and decorations celebrate nature and the outdoors. The floor to ceiling windows look out to the forested backyard and parkland immediately behind the property. There was three feet of snow starting just beyond the hot tub. And happy tobogganing was found on the local hills right out the back door which was very convenient with small children. We look forward to staying here again.

Gorgeous, clean, and welcoming cabin equipped for any adventure!

We stayed at this property during our summer trip to Tahoe. It’s a beautiful house where charming details can be found in every corner. We had everything we needed, from a washer/dryer to toaster and even a sauna to relax in. 10/10 would recommend to any family looking for an amazing cabin close to the lake!

Perfect getaway

Beautiful home with all the amenities made cooking at home as easy as being in our own home. Very comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms gave everyone their own space. We really enjoyed how comfortable this place was.

An unfortunate time.

Unfortunately, we were there during the early days of the fire. Smoke and ash entered the house even with the doors and windows closed. The location of the house was good, but we had to cut our stay short because of the fire conditions.

Nice house but expensive for a house with no view. We did not find cushions for the outside firniture , lots of noise from the construction work going on next door for which we were not warned and very noisy water system pump going on all the time. All considered we wound not rent it again.

Wonderful home near Homewood

We spent a great long weekend at the Tippy Canoe, our family of four and another family of four. The space was perfect for a two 11 year old boys, two 13 year old girls, and 2 married couples. The floor to ceiling windows overlooking the open space in the back make this home unique, private, and gorgeous. Our kids were in and out of the hot tub and snow, and made their own sledding hills behind the house. The house is ideally situated, with the open space behind it, and just down the road (5 minutes, maybe?!) from Homewood Ski Resort. Our only complaints were that both mattresses in the upstairs bedrooms are springy and ready to be replaced. Also, we never found a cutting board in the kitchen and had to use a small decorative trivet instead, but that wasn't too big a deal. Overall, all eight of us loved it (the fireplace/reading nook is another highlight!) and all decided that we can't wait to rent this house again. :)

The cabin was not clean we had to clean the counters and the the table, my son cut his foot after stepping on a broken piece of glass. beds were not comfortable, old pillows & sheets. first night there was two separate gas leaks in the house, we had to wait for hours before it was fixed. second day we found another gas leak with the barbecue outside which could not be fixed due to a broken knob. before we checked in they told that the house was being inspected to make sure everything was in order. Question is if the house was inspected why was there a gas leak and why was the house dirty.

Unbelievably the most wonderful place to stay.

We were extremely impressed with this stunning cabin. They have perfectly designed the best layout for family's with all the attention to details from the decor to amenities like the hot tub, sauna, beach towels, toys and games, space heaters for the bedrooms if you wanted them warmer, and a cute pre-lit Christmas tree for us. It was nice to see a place have saran wrap, paper towels, spices etc... We had brought our own since most places don't have them. What a nice surprise and they had plenty of dishes, glasses,cookware and more. The cabin was luxurious and the backyard was a gorgeous setting to sit on the couch and look out especially when it was snowing finally on Christmas Eve. We were able to do a little sledding right in the woods at the end of the court. The kids begged us to stay forever. They cried when we had to leave. The only thing I would of changed would be the check out time to be a little later. 10 am was a little rushed with children. We couldn't have been more pleased. We've stayed in dozens of cabins over the years and after having our own family cabin growing up, we could definitely appreciate all the details and love that went into making this place so warm and inviting. The driveway is definitely not as long as the picture looks so we had to park side by side in order to not be in the street, but we managed just fine. Hopefully, we get the opportunity to come back to the magical Tippy Canoe. Love the Tahoe, Native American Indian, and German touches since those are our family's heritage. We felt right at home. Thank you.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great home. Backyard is open to a hiking trail in sugar pine forest. Home is very comfortable and spacious. Sauna was great. Hot tub was wonderful. Fully stocked kitchen. Quiet neigborhood. Bed linens could have used replacing. There were no window blinds in downstairs bedrooms, which have street views hence the need for privacy.

Very homie, clean, cozy, with lots of amenities, extra towels,sheets,variety of dishes and cookware. Very satisfied with this home and the service Tahoe Gateways provided.Kids enjoyed exploring huge backyard, loved the sauna, great way to relax in the evening. Everything was great and would recommend 100%!
