The pool and pool bar was nice and everyone was friendly. Our room was on the road side of the hotel and it was very loud . I would have thought the balcony door was open but it wasn’t . I suggest asking for poolside room .

The rooms are outdated; we had an issue with the toilet; then one evening the fire alarm went off and that did get handled quit quickly. What really topped off the trip was we left a purse behind, and I called three times. The two times they stated they would look and took my number to call back no call back. The third time I get told I need to fill out a form and pretty much have to wait that it’s not there issue! That is absolutely poor poor customer service on their part! Also save your money for the breakfast option! The service at breakfast was horrible! They have attitudes and charge a decent price for a breakfast meal but you have to wait to get served also even a drink when they do approach! Not worth having breakfast there save your money and eat elsewhere

Whoever owns this hotel is not investing a penny to keep it up. You will not be able to sleep in those 40 year old matresses! Stay away.

They kept putting holds on my credit card everyday, and would not print me out a receipt for what they were charging me for. At checkout, they claimed they couldn't give me a printed receipt so I could see the charges they made. They said I would get an email. I left at 7am and its 12 pm and I still havent received an email.

Disgusting room

Room dumpy, metal coming out under mattress cut my leg. Bathroom wall paper peeling. Grout disgusting. This hotel is an embarrassment. Lobby redone and very nice, but room is the worst room I’ve ever stayed in.

Very disappointed, $400 per night for a very dated property, room dated and dirty, Motel 6 has better rooms. Dust everywhere, dirty towel from previous guest behind tv, shower hose hold and loose, doors very hold, carpet dirty, i opened the sofa bed and it was stained , my daughter has dust mite allergy and kept sneezing and scratching. $44 for valet? Seriously?

Great place to stay for the Gasparilla Classic

I love staying here..I have stayed here a couple years in a row while I run the Gasparilla Distance classic... My only 2 complaints..I froze my butt off in my room..I tried to attempt to turn on the heat..no luck. The other complaint was my coffee maker didn't work..At 4:15am before the race..lol..I was counting on that couple of coffee
