The reservation process was easy, and I was provided with detailed instructions for getting to and accessing the property. The tiki bar by the pool was amazing! Pool was warm but small and there was not enough seating. Resort is right on the water and the views and sunsets were stunning. There is no beach - the shoreline is all rocks. But they created a man-made sandy area where you can sit, play, or have a bonfire at the water's edge. All that said, there are a couple reasons why I only give the property 4 stars. First, the unit is a bit tired. The appliances are very old and worn: rusty dishwasher, garbage disposal that made a horrible sound. There was a gross, rusty soap dispenser at the sink that was falling apart. There was no screen door on the balcony to keep the bugs out, and the alignment of the balcony door was a bit messed up so at first I couldn't get it to lock. Maintenance came out and drilled at something for 20 seconds and said it works. But it was still really difficult to get it to lock. Second, I did not like the fact that the main door to the unit had no secondary lock - no deadbolt, no chain. Anyone with the door code could walk right in. Since I was traveling with only another female, I did not feel secure and ended up wedging one of the bar stools against the door every night. Third, the unit was not well-stocked: not enough tall glasses, bowls, or silverware, no potholders, no scissors, no pen or paper, no kitchen towel, no Kleenex, e.g.
