What can I add to the various reviews about this hotel! Absolute wonderful place and service by everyone and would highly recommend to anyone thinking on visiting Taormina. The warmth and welcome from the staff from the minute when we arrived was exceptional. Transfer to and from hotel to airport was kindly arranged as well as breakfast for our early morning departure. The room was comfortable and clean and as for the breakfast choice - Bellissimo! And thank-you for a memorable stay. You are a testament to the Sicilian people.

Probably the best hotel we’ve stayed at on our European tour. Incredible service, breakfast is amazing, and the views are stunning. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, definitely stay here if you get the chance. This is not a 2 star….much better than that. We had to leave early and the owner packed us a breakfast with coffee so we could eat before we left as the breakfast isn’t served until later. Fantastic service

A spotlessly clean hotel . It is comfortable and the hotel staff were all so warm and friendly and they couldn’t do enough for us. They were helpful in terms of every aspect and there was always a smile on their face. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. We were so pleased with our choice and in our opinion it is worthy of a much higher rating than 2*. I would definitely come back here

Great value for money

Ricardo and his staff are what makes this traditional sicilian style hotel. They are so friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. The hotel room was super clean, with a stocked fridge at the same prices as the bar, which is very refreshing in its self. The room comes with and safe and looked newly refurbished with a massive bathroom that had a great shower. Loved the pool too. The hotel was close to all amenities, bars, restaurants and shops, which were all walkable . Thanks to Ricardo and his lovely staff we had a great stay in Taormina. Would definitely stay again.

A stunning hotel in the most beautiful place in Sicily. Close to everything. Staff was amazing and spoke English. Fast and quick with all our needs. Rooms were stunning with awesome views. Highlight of our trip. This hotel is best bang for buck. A++++++++ Breakfast was great to.

Fab stay in family run hotel, incredible staff

The staff are amazing, warm, friendly, welcoming and nothing too much trouble. The small family run hotel is in very good repair and kept spotless everywhere. Our only criticism is that the beds are very hard so it would have been nice to be offered a mattress topper. We were upgraded to a pool side room, very quiet and a small private terrace area. It was down 5 sets of stairs and the weather was very hot and humid so we just planned carefully to avoid unnecessary trips up the stairs. Beautiful views from the pool and breakfast room. Only 10 mins downhill to the pretty town of Taormina with loads of good restaurants and shops. We often got a taxi back up, €10 from the town centre. Should have got one from the bus station as it was a hot slog dragging our cases up to the hotel on arrival. Very happy with hotel and look forward to return visit.

After booking two rooms, and when we arrived, Roberto and his staff were very courteous and friendly to help and accommodate us. \Despite the challenges in Taormina to park close by a hotel , they parked our car couple of meters from the Hotel for a minimal fee. Their rooms were very clean, Breakfast was free with a wide variety of choices. their prices are extremely reasonable for Taormina. we surely enjoyed our stay and will consider using this great Facility every time we visit that Area. Thank you Roberto and Staff, you made us feel at home:)

Great Find & Priced Well

We had a very nice stay at Soleado in Taormina, Sicily, Italy. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping was great. Service from all was superb. Breakfast was fabulous. Bar was good too. I would recommend Soleado as a great place to stay at a reasonable price.

Love this family-run hotel! The staff is friendly, accommodating and helpful! This is our second time staying at Hotel Soleado and we will definitely return. Also great breakfast in the morning included. Quiet location but a close walk to Corso Umberto and restaurants. Beach shuttle provided @10€ person, chairs and umbrella included. Great pool, lovely location.
