Convenient location in downtown Taos. Close to shops and restaurants. Room was clean and pleasant. Plenty of parking right outside the room.

Meh.

The person who checked us in appeared to be the only one who was on site in spite of there being a large event in town. He was efficient and friendly and polite. Easily the best part of our stay. The room was shabby and not particularly clean, but the beds were comfortable and there was a variety of pillow choices, which was nice. The bathroom smelled strongly of marijuana, but the shower had good water pressure (think low-key pressure washer situation due to mineral buildup on the shower head) and plenty of hot water. Air conditioner was great. We felt safe. If you order coffee, don't order ahead online. It took 25 minutes to get coffee and 4 groups who walked in and ordered got theirs before us.

Ever since we walked in to the room, we could hear a pretty loud pounding noise on the pipes coming from inside the wall. It’s pretty much nonstop and goes all the way throughout the night.

The "queen" beds are super small and now have this strange metal base that I constantly kicked during my stay. This is really a motel, nothing fancy. Everything works and its average.

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. They have great amenities like a big TV and wireless phone charger, the whole property was very clean, the coffee shop on site is lovely, and (just as other reviews stated) the staff was extremely friendly. This place did not disappoint and it’s pet friendly, which is a huge plus for my crew.

We stayed for a night, and it was an ok experience. Breakfast is available but paid and that was not a surprise for us as we knew when booking, but including here just in case that helps. We asked for a non-smoking room but could smell a strong smoking smell (it wasn't cigarette for sure) in the morning, not sure if it was from the room or someone smoking nearby. Our experience was good/excellent except for the smoking smell which made it to ok.
