You'll enter the apartment through a unique and charming entrance area, with a low ceiling and tight side entrance that adds to the cozy and private feel of the space. Although taller guests might want to take some care when entering, once inside, you'll find a bright and modern living area complete with a comfortable queen-sized bed, a sofa bed providing additional sleeping space for extra guests, and an electric fireplace for those wanting a warm and cozy atmosphere. Our cozy basement apartment meets all Ontario Building Code requirements for ceiling height, ensuring a comfortable stay. The majority of the space offers standard basement height; however, like many basement apartments, some areas, such as the bathroom, have bulkheads that slightly lower the ceiling. Guests taller than 5’8” may find these areas a bit more compact in those areas. This common feature adds to the unique charm of the space, and we strive to ensure all guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant experience.
