It’s in a residential neighbourhood. Super convenient. If not travelling with many suitcases, it is just 10mins walk from Santa Lucia Station (one bridge crossing with ramp). It is an old building, so don’t expect too fancy design. But it is good enough for the stay and convenient to access everywhere in Venice.

My friends and I enjoyed the location of this property. We did encounter a few challenges that impacted our stay. The directions to access the property weren’t entirely straightforward, and we found ourselves relying on trial and error to figure things out. On our first day, we saw long strands of hair left in the bathtub drain. After using the shower, we understood why and it was because the shower drained extremely slow causing water to pool and overflow in the tub. Additionally, the shower handle couldn’t be secured in place due to a broken attachment. The toilet presented a recurring issue, as the flush button consistently got stuck and caused the water to keep running unless manually fixed. In the kitchen, the lighting was quite dim likely due to missing bulbs. The headboards on the beds also seemed to need more thorough cleaning, as they appeared dusty and worn. While the neighbors didn’t come across as particularly welcoming, we can understand how frequent guest turnover might be disruptive to those living there permanently. One of the more difficult parts of our experience was the communication with the host. We found ourselves needing to follow up multiple times before getting responses, which left us feeling a bit unsupported during our stay. With some improvements and more consistent support, this property could be a much more comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.

The location of the property is great. It was a little confusing finding it but not too bad. The bed and pullout couch were comfortable. The bathroom had mold everywhere. It didn’t seem like the apartment was cleaned in quite some time. The WiFi signal was poor and it barely reached the bedroom. Doesn’t even make it to the living room.

I had booked this apartment for 2 days. This was the fist time staying at this apartment. On the first day I arrived late for checking but there was no one abthf the front desk. I could not reach the owner to enter the plac. As a result I could not stay there . I had to find another place to stay for the first day!!!! Only second day I stayed but place was too bad. Several issues - There was muggy smell inside the apartment. The AC was not working and I had to call maintenance to help fix. The wifi was not working. Shower had molds and unsafe to shower. The place was simply the worst. The owner was too rude. There was no proper communication to the customer on staying there. I wood never recommend to stay here.

Location is good but it's a little bit hard to find this place for the first time (Google maps don't help much). However, the apartment is way smaller than it appears on the pictures. Also, the communication from the management of the hotel was very poor. We haven't received any instructions by email, although it was promised in the confirmation email which I've received once booked our stay that we will get these instructions 3 days before our stay. The day before I still haven't received anything, so I had to contact Expedia customer service to deal with this. Once Expedia contacted the management of the hotel only then I've received an email with detailed instructions. The overall experience was much stressful than I'd expected as we were on our way from Rome to Venice already and I had to deal with all this. Another thing is that this place has bed bugs, the master bedroom for sure. I was terribly bitten all over my back, right hand and right side of the face. That was a very unpleasant and itchy experience and not the one you would like to have while on vacation. I also have pictures taken 4 days after we've checked out and you still can see the bites and how swollen and red those looked. Unfortunately, I can NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay away!

very nice property, close to all the locations. Kitchennette was nicely equipped and have a washing machine. Grocery shop is a block away. AC in the rooms was bery nice. this apartment was close to all the historic places in venice and a short walk from the train station. Check in and oit was very efficient and easy. Check in office easy to find, and very nice people in there. Next time in Venice will stay in the property. Highly recommeded!!

Don’t stay at this apartment as it could ruin your experience in Venice. We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights in May 2025 and had the worst experience here. 1. The washing machine was broken when we arrived. We have contacted the host through WhatsApp who promised to fix it the next day. No one ever showed up before we left. 2. The toilet seat was not cleaned as there was dirt on it as we arrived. 3. Broken shower room door. Felt like it has been broken since long ago but no one ever bothered to replace it. The bathroom floor was flooding when we showered. 4. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper were provided for a 3-night stay (4 adults). Requested for it through WhatsApp but nobody had come on even if they promised to. 5. Super slow water drainage in the bathroom. A pond would form each time we washed our hands and it would take an hour until the water is drained. 6. The apartment was full of mosquitoes. Didn’t sleep well because they were flying around us all night long.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE We booked this accommodation because it looked fresh and pleasant in the photos. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find the bedrooms full of mold – a serious health hazard. We immediately contacted Hotels.com, but they refused to refund us because the hotel did not approve it. Despite having clear evidence that the property does not match its description, Hotels.com refuses to refund money or remove it from their platform. This is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of responsibility toward their customers.

I was disappointed by the quality of the accommodation. Moisture stains are everywhere, the lights flickered regularly, and we didn't even have a proper duvet cover (there was a sheet underneath, and a sheet on top of the duvet instead). Definitly does not look nearly as clean as the pictures show. The apartment does, however, have the equipment indicated.

Great Location and building but awful condition

Unfortunately, the place is poorly maintained. There were countless dead insects smashed on the walls, which were also stained with dirt and moisture. The curtains were extremely dirty, and the floor was filthy. I walked around in my socks and had to throw them away afterward—they were completely black from the dirt. The location is excellent and the building itself is beautiful, but the apartment doesn’t reflect that at all. There were lots of mosquitoes, and although we asked for repellent, we didn’t get a response until the next morning—by then, it was too late, and we’d already had a rough night. With just a bit of effort—some deep cleaning, a fresh coat of paint, air fresheners, better pillows, and a more comfortable mattress—the place could be much more inviting. It doesn’t need to be luxurious to feel cozy and comfortable. I hope this feedback helps you improve the space.

Appartement situé dans une rue calme de Canareggio, facile d'accès. Le loueur nous avait donné le mauvais code de la boîte à clés et n'était pas joignable (arrivée à 18h). Après un long moment, nous avons obtenu le bon code et avons pu prendre possession des lieux. L'appartement est spacieux mais a un vrai problème d'humidité avec de nombreuses traces de moisissures sur les murs, notamment dans les chambres. Le linge fourni était propre mais la literie est particulièrement inconfortable : le matelas est beaucoup trop mou. Passable dans l'enseignement mais pour les éléments évoqués ci-dessus, je n'y retournerai pas.

Perto de tudo e a preço interessante

Valeu muito a pena a estadia no Guglie Desing Apartments. Ficamos eu, meu marido e uma amiga muito bem instalados nos aposentos - o imóvel comporta até cinco pessoas. Dormimos na suíte principal e ela no sofá cama da sala, que vira um quarto. O apartamento tem máquina de lavar roupa e um secador que pode ser instalado em qualquer ambiente. A cozinha é bem equipada, com itens como louças, copos, fogão, microondas, geladeira (disfarçada nos armários) e torradeira. Há água quente em todas as pias, o que é importante no inverno. A região tem bons restaurantes, com menu de preço fixo, e bares. Mas o som não chega ao imóvel, que é muito reservado. Sentimo-nos como moradores.
