This was a pleasant surprise for our family. The facility was clean, the staff was pleasant, the hotel was all suites. So there was more room than a usual hotel room. There was a larger than normal pool. The grounds were beautiful. My only issues that kept me from giving a higher rating was that the tub was slippery. There wasn’t a non-slip surface there and I almost fell twice but was saved by the grab bar inside the shower. Being on 2 blood thinners made that dangerous for me. There were also steep stairs- with no option for an elevator. The staff was kind enough to give us a ground floor room. Otherwise we had a good stay for 5 nights.

The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and nicely arranged. The sitting area was divided from the sleeping area and bathroom by a large tall chest which had a flat screen TV attached on both sides, although it was open above the chest. This was a convenient stop on our way to the Port of Miami for our cruise.

The place shows its age. The staff was top notch, friendly, professional, and helpful. Not really “near” much of anything, but a 15-20 minute drive to Clover Park. Suited us just fine.
