Top Choice in Vik

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, fantastic location. We had an early start in the morning and they prepared a fresh bag of food for us to take. They also have a Northern Lights wake up call that we got to experience, with great views right outside the hotel. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

Modern property with some maintenance issues. We were moved to another room when the window would not open. Be aware that it is about a 75m walk to the front entrance of the hotel from the parking lot and there is no cover during bad weather. We got drenched! The breakfast is plentiful and high quality…good coffee! Pleasant staff.

The staff at the front desk is amazing. Very attentive and did not have to repeat asking for request. They even gave us an option to opt in for a call in case aurora shows up.

Great place to stay for a trip to glacier, ice cave, and black sand beaches! Breakfast was wonderful and extensive. In room Nespresso much appreciated. Great full vanity in bathroom (the only hotel of our Iceland visit!). Corner room with north facing balcony would have afforded great view of northern lights has it not been so overcast! Highly recommend!

Great location

We stayed in the junior suite . Had a good view of the ocean and the room was clean and comfortable. Liked that it was right by the stairs and elevator. Only one entry to the hotel and parking close to the door to load and unload luggage wasn't the most convenient, but there is a nice large parking lot. Most staff were nice and helpful enough, but one female stuff member in the dining area wasn't helpful or friendly. She'd just stare at you while you looked for things and not offer to help and never smiled. She made us feel uncomfortable. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of choices and was refilled pretty quickly when items ran out. I'd stay there again as the overall experience and location were nice 👍

Hotel Kría was one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the sleek, modern design and the peaceful atmosphere. The room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, with stunning views of the mountains. The breakfast buffet was outstanding — fresh, well-stocked, and full of local flavors. The location is perfect for exploring the south coast. With just a short walk to the black sand beach. Highly recommend staying here if you want comfort, style, and exceptional service in one of Iceland’s most scenic areas.

This is a very cool hotel. I was on the 1st floor and the noise above me was noticeable while I tried to sleep. Also, the bed was very firm and not comfortable. The design of the hotel is super chic and doors to the outside were a nice feature. Having chairs out there would be an added bonus! Dinner was excellent.

The lady on the reception was very friendly and informative :) We loved the room, modern decoration, clean and spacious ;) The beds were very comfortable, and the toiletries very good quality. The breakfast had various options and was delicious. Easy parking, close to supermarkets, restaurants and petrol station. Will come back again
