When we arrived around 00:45am there were already police at the hotel and in front of it. We asked the reception what happened and we were told “just some piping issue and they’re checking if it’s not dangerous”. We went to the room, fell asleep around 1:45am. Then 2:15am we an alarm went off and we were evacuated until 5:45am…. Please note we were with our baby son. It was an absolute nightmare. It turned out it was all becasue someone left a suspicious package in the lobby. They should’ve already told us when we arrived. We slept almost nothing and had to deal with a baby first in the cold and then in a lobby of another hotel for so many hours.

The staff at the hotel was amazing and made our stay enjoyable. That said the pool area was really dirty, there were too many people it was cold. The presidential hotel is much better.

Tv does not have the ability to cast any platforms, so you are stuck watching limited cringe tv. There seemed to be no urgency to fix it. In fact I was laughed at scoffed at and hung up on by front desk when following up about this ability to watch Netflix on my tv. Perhaps they will eventually fix it, but book elsewhere if that's important to you.

The check in service was terrible. The staff provided the wrong room and incorrect information about the free self parking (asked me to pay for it). Furthermore I got downgraded not upgraded despite the VIP status. No bellman hence I needed to carry the luggage myself. The room had no bathtub and I had a child which made it hard to accept. I had to request a different room, on a lower floor, with no view and a bad smell in the room, and it was freezing inside.
