The staff was not very friendly, lied to me multiple times, evening manager was rude.so was the front desk. Room had no privacy, loud you hear every beep of the elevator and every person in the hall and every car on the road. Elevator would stop at every floor even if no one was there waiting so it was a very long wait everytime. Bathroom door didn’t close properly or lock, you could see someone sitting on toilet with door closed they sent maintenance and he said there’s no way to fix it. I requested another room, one without barn door. They said no. Hand towel had makeup on it, Toilet stopped working, maintenance fixed that.they said they can give me a normal room without barn door next day so I agreed, they gave me a new room that was exactly the same, with same issue but even worse as it not only had a crack you can see through and it didn’t lock but it wouldn’t stay closed most of the time. I had others staying with me and we literally had to go down stairs to lobby for privacy using bathroom. I would change in the bathroom, shut the door and it would roll open several inches moments later while I was changing. Staff at front desk were very rude about the whole situation as was the evening manager. The room overall was subpar for a Hyatt.. sink in the room had terrible caulking job looking like a 3 year old had done it, lights didn’t work properly and were difficult to figure out, there was rot in the wood in the bathroom, overall experience was not good at all.

On February 7,2026, I arrived at the Hyatt Place West Palm Beach downtown location to attend my daughter’s wedding. We were greeted at the front desk and assigned room #319. The bathroom and shower tile grout was dirty. The tile grout below the shower door appeared to have mold and the wallpaper was peeling off the wall. I informed the front desk the following day, I was told that there were no management on duty (weekend), and that the maintenance supervisor would come to inspect the bathroom area (no show). During checkout on February8, 2026, I reiterated my concerns, provided my contact information and was told that management would contact me the next morning. Later in the day on February 9, 2026, I called the Hyatt Place Palm Beach, location and informed the front desk that I had not received a call back from someone in management. I was informed that management had got in late, I was put on hold a few minutes. A female who identified herself as the Assistant General Manager, rudely stated that she had tested and inspected the bathroom (#319) for mold and that there was no mold. She was agitated and the tone of her voice was condescending. I requested to speak with MS Logan, who is listed as the General Manager. She abruptly transferred me to her voice mail. I left my contact information, as of this post I have not been contacted.

This was such a great experience ! I stayed after attending a tea party with some of my girls for my birthday and this hotel really sealed the deal ! It was a great location, friendly staff and beautiful room... the front desk attendant Gabriel was so helpful ! Also, don't forget to checkout the delicious breakfast:)

Staff charged us an additional fee of $50 plus for early check in. That was excessive for a $600 per night. Once I realized the fee, I asked to add my credit card instead of my debit and he told me it was done and it still charged my debit card. Sloppy
