We were really looking forward to this stay, especially since it was for my birthday and I had just graduated nursing school, but unfortunately it did not meet expectations. There were multiple issues throughout our stay, the hot tub was not working, the TV didn’t function, and the living room fan was broken. We were also disappointed to find that the dishes were not clean with previous food left on them, and there was noticeable dust and lint throughout the unit that stuck to our clothes and skin, which made it uncomfortable. We were told a technician would be coming out to fix the hot tub, but no one ever showed during our stay. While we were offered the option to use the hot tub at another unit, that wasn’t a reliable solution, as it depended on whether it was available. Another major concern was the lack of security in the outdoor area. While there is a gate, there are no locks separating each unit, so the space is essentially open and accessible between units, which felt unsafe and unsettling. (Hence why we could access Unit A hot tub). At the end of our stay, we were asked what could be done to make things right and were encouraged not to leave a review. I proposed a partial refund given the number of issues, but that was declined — so I’m leaving an honest review of our experience. Overall, these issues added up and made the experience frustrating, especially given the cost and the occasion. I would recommend confirming that all amenities are fully functional & cleaned

Unexpected and Unfortunate

This home could be much higher rated, but there was just too much wrong with the home and poor host responsiveness. When we first arrived, we noticed the masted bed was broken and one corner sitting on the ground. After calling the owner, he indicated he already knew - but he let us check in without prior warning. We spent the first night with the bed propped up on cinder blocks. Other things that were wrong included: no running cold water from the bathroom tap, broken sofa leg, foul smell, broken microwave, no bags for corn hole, other broken outdoor games, moldy grill utensils and half-filled and dirty hot tub. We called the property manager, and honestly thought things were going to be addressed - we were hoping and patient. But then the owner ghosted us after the first night…. The handyman did his best to make things right (Nick is great), but by the end of the visit we still had a broken couch and a foul smell. Because of multiple visits to try to make repairs, I ended up missing the boat show which was the very reason for our trip. I think the place has potential, but Mike has got to be more accountable and communicative.

Unsatisfactory

The smell when we entered the property nearly had us checking out, was it strong disinfectant or drains? Over the 2 weeks this overwhelming smell varied on a scale of 1:10 from 10 50% of the time when we returned after a day’s activity to 3%. We ate outside most evenings and leaving the doors open seemed to disperse the smell. Master bed was too soft and we rolled into the middle. I finally moved to the other bed to relieve the back pain. The master bed collapsed one night and my husband joined me cramped in the smaller bed. The sofa similarly was too uncomfortable and we moved the bedroom chair into the sitting room. There was a minimum of china to facilitate the dishwasher so we washed by hand after each meal, there was a lack of serving dishes salad bowls etc. The microwave stopped working and the cold tap on the bathroom sink never worked and it was only thanks to our neighbours that we were eventually able to connect to the internet as our hosts gave us incorrect login details and didn’t respond to our other concerns. There were no clothes hangers or drawer or shelves on which to unpack our belongings apart from the perfunctory bedside tables. We went to west palm beach to play golf in the Florida sunshine and we did that despite the discomfort of the accommodation but one should not have to live in worse conditions to accomplish that..

This house was in a great location for all the golf activities and very close to the airport for early morning flights. Backyard is wonderful and we enjoyed it in the evenings.Owners are great could not have been nicer.We highly recommend this house.

Very nice rental

Unit was as described, and very clean, well stocked & comfortable. Location is very good for convenience to airport, grocery store and restaurants. Some housekeeping items that I’ve communicated to property mgmt company.
