For an airport hotel I would have thought that the breakfast would start earlier than 7 especially during the week. Hotel is dated and is in need of some basic updating.

The staff was burning toast in the lobby in the morning, which set off the smoke alarms in the whole building at 9:00AM. We grabbed our bags and went down the stairs to the lobby when 4 firetrucks showed up to turn off the alarms and then left. When i asked for a refund she said no problem, but was lying and never got a refund on the room.

Cleaning ladies were very noisy, talking in their own language despite having our DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door! Had wanted to sleep in a bit esp on Sat am! Room was either too hot or too cold. Couldn't set it to odd number temps eg it had to be either 70 or 68 or 66 or 64 not 65 or 67 or 69 degrees. Poor selection of shows on TV - too much sports, not enough family friendly shows or movies for eg. Need to flip the mattresses!! Sagging where people have repeatedly slept. Woke up with a SORE+++ back!! & pillows were all too soft! Big long black hair on the bathmat then fell off onto the floor. When first entered our room after checkin, there was a candy wrapper right in front of our door into our room. Stayed there for the 2 nights we were there despite the cleaning ladies cleaning rooms near ours! No recycling bins in the rooms or on premises for pop or water bottles etc that we could see! Clerk at checkin was friendly & helpful re our reservation & needs. We were surprised that they took down the Christmas decorations on Jan. 1st! They weren't aware that Ukrainian & other Orthodox faiths celebrate Christmas & New Years on Jan 7 & 14 respectively. We thought it was a bit soon removing them on Jan 1st!
