Great Stay at The Virginian Resort

We had a great one-night stay at The Virginian Resort. The room was clean, spacious, and cozy, with a comfy bed and strong AC. Loved the outdoor seating by the creek—perfect for enjoying pizza from next door. Super convenient location with a store right nearby. Would definitely come back!

It is very well located, easy to find. Good parking. Has an excellent pizza place on one side and a mini mart on the other side for any items you may have forgotten. Ample parking spacious rooms. My go to place when i'm in Winthrop

Loved our stay! Our room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The front desk was so nice. The property is unique and definitely the cutest place we stayed on our 14 day road trip. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

The property is meticulously kept. Lots of outdoor seating and areas to hangout with friends. If traveling with a group it is a great place to stay. It is rustic cabin motel that is well preserved and maintained. The bathrooms, flooring and bedding could be updated.

We checked in after hours and the key was left in an envelope with my name on it for us in the front foyer. It was easy peasy. The room was clean. It was a basic room with no frills but was all we needed for the night. Checked out the next morning. Friendly front desk staff. Nice grocery store (IGA) i think and little coffee shop (pony espresso) right next door. As we headed west on 20 (cascades hwy) downtown wintrop less than 5 mins away had a whole old school western vibe so we stopped to check it out. Neat vibe. Good spot especially if you are hiking or doing trips in the north cascades. Maple pass loop is 40 min. Drive. So is blue lake, rainy lake, and the PCT. all within striking distance. Enjoy!

Room old, 5” hole in carpet, ugly bottom mattress visible , yucky old, curtains on broken screen door filthy, towels like theirs are in our rag basket. Walked away after first nite.forfeited one nite. Felt dirty after bedding there, could not sleep, didn’t even use shower just wanted to leave that place behind. Oh and the door “safety “ chain screws ready to fall out!

The place itself was fine. The bed and pillows were comfortable, but some stuff need to be replaced, for example the bathroom door. The place is fine for a quick place to sleep while you visit the national park, however the people that work at the front desk are extremely unprofessional. I walked in, person behind the desk had a vape and you could smell that they were vaping. Wasn’t even greeted and barely any eye contact. Came in well past 3 and was informed that my room was not ready and that was it. No further explanation or information. I had to ask about when they thought it would be ready and the just said they didn’t know again no further information was provided. Room was ready an hour and a half after check in time.
