Very basic room. No fridge. No microwave. No shampoo. No kettle. Basically just 3 single beds, 3 pillows and 3 comforters. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff Cynthia was very nice and helpful.

Overall, it was a good stay. The hotel is quite well located, 200 meters from Zurich Central Train Station. There was no closet. The room was clean. It didn't have air conditioning, a refrigerator, or a safe. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the towels were clean.

Perfect location

We had a great stay there. The location was wonderful price was good. Near train station and local trim service. Breakfast was perfect. I saw retested heat but did not see AC but they had a fan that brought in cool air from the river. Was vary happy.

Great value!

As a solo traveller I was looking for something safe, walking distance to key sights, and reasonably priced in an expensive city. This hotel hit all of these criteria. There was free tea and coffee in reception, a lounge area with tables and chairs so you could bring food in. There was luggage storage available. The fenicular is right next door, several trams, and 5 min walk from the train station. My room was specifically for solo travellers and it was a great size considering that.

The Limmathof is not a 5 star hotel but it is very clean and tidy, well priced, has a lovely and friendly breakfast facility and is so convenient to all facilities around the Zurich CBD. Recommended.

This is a great location centrally located near the train station and restaurants. I gave this a four star rating because there was no air-conditioning or fan in the room. We stayed in May so the temperature wasn’t too hot thankfully. we were not able to keep our windows open for a cool breeze because of all of the street noise.

Room is clean, close to public transport. Lift available (not all hotel has it! ) very spacious, bed is comfortable. Tea and coffee on the ground floor when needed. Easy access. When you arrived dont go in the front entrance, lots of stairs, its hard to go up with suitcases, so you go around the back door because no steps, easy carried suitcases. No fan in the room but you can open the window when its hot. Because the hotel near trams and station so very noisy when you opened the window even until late night. Because we stayed only for 2 days we dont mind as it was easy to go to the big train station and we were back to the hotel just for sleep. For short stay, we will stay again.

Great location- older property with history so bound to be a little dated. Rooms were small but very comfortable. Staff was great and complimentary coffee and tea was nice. Super close to Zürich Hb and plenty of food options nearby
