“It was a terrible experience. The hotel was not clean, and the staff lacked even the basics of customer service. We requested some items, and at 6 a.m. a staff member opened our door without permission to deliver them. When we escalated this issue to the manager, we were shocked by his response—he said staff are allowed to enter without permission if they want to deliver items quickly. I had also paid for breakfast, but we never received it due to the poor service. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel.”

The hotel was ok in terms of room condition (although old) and it’s in a good location, but the bathroom smell was terrible the whole stay. Also, they had issues with parking, there is no designated spots for the hotel and the valet takes too long, they even parked my car in a spot for handicapped and I could’ve been fined for it! They are working on renovating the second floor so it might be better in the future.

I arrived at the Millennium Downtown Hotel with high expectations — and I’m pleased to say they were fully met. From the moment I checked in, Kim at the front desk made me feel welcome. She clearly explained the hotel facilities and amenities in a professional and friendly manner, which I truly appreciated. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating — nothing was too much trouble for them. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel itself is ideal for corporate travellers and short stays. Its central location means everything you need is within walking distance — restaurants, shops, and services — so there's no need to spend extra on taxis or transport. The hotel offers excellent facilities and a solid food and beverage offering that suits busy professionals. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting on business or for a short-term stay. It’s convenient, well-managed, and perfectly located.

Really good hotel if you want to stay in a clean, convenient and easy to navigate from. Felt more like a solid 3 or 3.5 at best when compared to the hotels in the US. However, I would stay at it again and again just for being located in the heart of the “original” Abu Dhabi.
