A stay in Albuquerque

The hotel is in a nice location and offers guests the taste of Southwest. It is in walking distance of the Sawmill Market, which is a great place to eat and drink. Reasonably priced.

Enjoyed the proximity to Old Town so we could explore the historic area. There were some great restaurants and shops within a few blocks. The hotel’s proximity to the highway was convenient when we wanted to visit other places in the Albuquerque area. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

The property was nice enough and was right on the edge of Old Town. This biggest issue was that both the pool and the gym were closed and this was not mentioned at the time of booking and no consideration was made for this. We were on a long rough road trip and were looking forward to a nice hotel and the pool especially. Old Town was underwhelming and the surrounding area was not very walkable with a lot of construction ongoing. On the main thoroughfares you could go a quarter mile without finding a crosswalk.

I liked everything EXCEPT THE BED LINEN. Why can't they use fitted bottom sheets? these were even just draped, not even tucked in. And I had to remove the HUGE and very cold sheets from both top and bottom of the comforter so I could move while sleeping.

Hotel Albuquerque was great. Room was very comfortable and area was great for exploring the city and other parts of New Mexico. Free and very easy parking was a huge plus, along with the close proximity to the Sawmill Market.
