I emailed back in forth with the hotel and I was checking in after hours at 7pm. They said it was fine and just follow the instructions and the on site manager will take care of check in. Nobody was there tho and couldn’t get in to the hotel or room and tried for over an hour. Then finally googled the quest headquarters number and go ahold of someone on the phone who the helped me. Don’t expect much from the onsite after hours managers. Another person, maybe more, had the same issue hour later

Room was an excellent size, balcony had a park/city view which was excellent for the NYE fireworks. Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to beyond to cater. We asked for a couple of things to be sent to our room (toilet paper, conditioner) and when we returned to our room we had a full bag care package of everything the room had. Mattress and pillows were the most comfortable thing ever! Wish I could have them sent over. Good walking distance to everything in the city.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Nothing was clean. When I arrived, which was after hours, I noticed there was black mold growing in the air conditioner. I told the front desk staff the next morning and the housekeeping staff when they came around the next day. Nothing was done for the entire week I was staying there. I have filed a complaint with the Auckland council for unsanitary conditions. Additionally, I was told 5 days in to my 7 day stay that I would need to check out earlier than I was originally told because of a staff appreciation event. I'm all for the event and appreciating the staff for their work, but how is that not something communicated at the time of booking? Stay anywhere else and you'll have a much better time.

I was very pleased with this hotel. It was clean, had a washer and dryer in suite, free tea and coffee, a kitchenette, and a good location. I arrived super early and was able to leave my luggage, and check me in a bit before the official check in time, which was really appreciated after a super long flight. I highly recommend this hotel!
