Unfriendly and unhelpful

My mom was in the hospital so I got there very late night after visiting hours. Check-in went fine got to the room and the television didn’t even work. It was almost midnight,so no problem. The next morning while I’m sleeping housekeeping three times Knox and just enters the room without anybody answering the door well before checkout time. I explained to the person at the front desk and they couldn’t have cared any less. Asked to speak to a manager was told they were busy and that she would forward this information to the housekeeping manager was the best they could do. Never again what I stay at this place.

A mix of good and bad for a mediocre hotel

I'm actually shocked that this hotel is rated so highly. While I didn't have a bad stay, there were quite a few small issues that were puzzling for what's supposed to be a 4-star hotel. First issue: my room did not have a hair dryer and I had to ask two people two separate times to get one. Second issue: my room did not have a "do not disturb" sign which meant I had housekeeping service every day and they replaced my towels each time, even those I hung up (this is really not needed!) Third issue: the shade in my room was broken so I could not raise the shade, and yet it didn't cover the full length of the window so plenty of nighttime light came through when I was trying to sleep. Fourth issue: I needed a receipt for my trip and their printer was not working when I checked out so they emailed it to me, but they misspelled my email address, even though I'd written it down for them (I was able to finally get the receipt before I left, although it was more challenging than it needed to be.) None of these issues made for a horrible stay, but they're certainly not what I would expect for a 4-star hotel. There were some really good parts of my stay, though: the bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. And, there's a new bar/restaurant on the property where I grabbed drinks a few times and the bartender was friendly. I didn't get the chance to eat there, but the chef came out and talked to us and also seems like a good guy. Overall, a mediocre hotel.

Staff was cordial, beds and pillows were very comfortable and really liked flooring instead of rugs. A negative was someone was smoking in their room near our room and it billowed out into the hall. There was water behind peeling wall paper and hoped there was no mold. The tub was peeling as well. Unusual since hotel only a year old.

I loved the bathroom. But our room had some type of water damage on the ceiling. The room had paper peeling from the ceiling. The staff was great but they rooms need to be updated.

The hotel was clean and the staff was so professional. My stay was great. The hotel was in proximity of all of my activities reserved. I will definitely be using their services again and again. I would also like to shoutout the valet attendee, a young black man who was extremely helpful.
