Beautiful retreat

We absolutely loved our stay at Shanghai Mansion. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and went out of their way to answer our questions and make sure our stay was comfortable. The hotel was beautiful and had so many extra touches that made the stay special, like happy hour tea and music. The room was incredible and was such a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. We will definitely stay there again!

Hotel was very unique and upscale. The property was extremely clean and the staff was fantastic. Lobby bar was awesome, always playing music and the drinks were delicious. Would highly recommend if in chinatown!

This place was a dream come true. An oasis in the heat of Bangkok and chaos of Songkran. Friendly staff, clean quiet rooms, steps from the best street food in Bangkok. I will absolutely be back next time im in the city.

This hotel has it all! It’s a classy looking joint with rooms to match! The location is in the middle of all street food action of Chinatown. Your Bangkok adventure begins right outside of your door. It’s also close to the subway and river ferry. The staff are kind and attentive. This makes a big difference. The included breakfast buffet has a good selection of really good food. Never got tired of it. And…there is an espresso/latte machine! This was our second visit here and it won’t be our last.

Nice hotel - Zero guest security.

Nice hotel, good location, decent value for money. Bar prices are crazy high but it’s got live music and the setting is unique so it’s worth it for one drink. My one concern is the total lack of security. Anyone can walk off the streets directly to the accommodation floors any time of the day or night. There are no doors to pass through, no security or hotel staff - you can walk off the street, through the open bar and walk up to any floor and access the guest rooms.
