Excellent location, walking distance to most places or metro access. Restaurants nearby everywhere. Only mild complaint would be people living above this apartment had a young child that ran loudly through their apartment every morning. Otherwise, very quiet and the place has everything you need for a longer stay!

This was the perfect location to all things in Barcelona. The Metro station is on the opposite corner from the apartment. We walked almost everywhere: Sagrada Família, the Barcelona Cathedral, and the Gothic district. It was an easy Metro ride to Park Guell and the train station. There were restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and pharmacies on almost every corner in the neighborhood. We had everything we needed in the apartment including detergent for the washer/dryer. It was clean and cozy. It looks exactly as the photos. Antonio was a gracious host and communicated promptly when we had questions. He met is early on a Saturday morning from our overnight flight. This is perfect for families and couples traveling together because there are two bathrooms. The only con is that the people above must have small children. You can hear them running - but it never interrupted our sleep. We highly recommend this apartment. We would stay there again.

Great location!

Antonio was a great host and the apartment was fantastic! Comfortable beds and accommodations. The people upstairs did not seem to have regard for their being people under them, but that is definitely NOT Antonio's problem/fault.

Well Located Property In The Heart Of Barcelona

We enjoyed staying in this well located two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in the hear of Barcelona. Many cultural sights and restaurants were nearby, and the neighborhood was thriving with shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries. We would stay here again next time in the city.

Great Location & Property!

The property location within Barcelona is fantastic! It’s an easy walk to La Sagrada, Arc Triomphe, and La Rambla, and is right in the middle of fantastics restaurants and shops. It is located within 2 minutes of a metro station but we never needed to use it as we were well within walking distance of almost all major attractions. We had 2 adults and 3 kids and easily fit in the property and would definitely recommend this for any other families or small groups.

Great place, clean and close to everything

Great location close to everything. The was street construction going in infront of our building. That was a bit disappointing as the construction would start right away in the morning so we had to deal with the noise all day on the days we stayed in. Hopefully that would be done soon and will not disrupt anyone else holiday.

Long weekend in Barcelona

Antonio was easy to work with. The location was excellent. 15-20 minute walk to Sagrada Familia and to La Rambla in the other direction. Nice coffee shop across the street. Multiple bakeries very close. 24-hr market next door. Big grocery store just down the street. The two bathrooms were nice for the two adult couples. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Quiet oasis in the heart of the city

Clean, well kept apartment in beautiful old residential section in heart of the city with everything needed for a great stay. 24 hour market at your front door with larger supermarket around the corner...Girona subway entrance within steps of the apartment, as well as easy access to taxis made getting around the city a breeze. A great place to relax after a day in the city. Bedrooms are on the interior so very quiet at night. Antonio was a great host, meeting us on arrival and giving us the lay of the land. Highly recommend.

Antonio was a wonderful host. Apartment is in the heart of Eixample, close to shopping, groceries, cafés, bars and most importantly to the metro. Everywhere was walking distance but if one would grow weary from walking the metro is cheap and convenient. The apartment is adequately stocked with enough kitchenware for four people (although with all the wonderful eatery options close by, why would you eat in the apartment?). The washer is a nice addition. There was a small mechanical problem that was dealt with ASAP - on a Sunday morning no less!! We would recommend this apartment to anyone and would book it again if we return to Barcelona.

Comfortable apartment in the Eixample

While it was fairly sparsely furnished and supplied by American standards, it was clean, comfortable and very safe feeling. The air conditioning, washer, dishwasher and microwave were great to have--a modern kitchen. Would not plan on cooking much here, as there are few pots/pans/utensils, but with hundreds of lovely restaurants in Barcelona, it was great to be able to eat breakfast here each day, with lunch and dinner out. There is a large super market just a block away with all the essentials! Frederica, Antonio's assistant was so helpful. She showed us everything in the apartment and got us oriented the first day. Antonio was extremely responsive. While not luxurious, this was a great base for us as we explored the area for a week. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

Great stay

Thank you for the great stay. Antonio couldn’t have been nicer. The location of the apartment is wonderful. Barcelona has made some streets pedestrian lately, and this place is on two of these. A taxi can still drop you off right at the apartment, but otherwise mostly no cars. Bedrooms are very quiet and we slept better than at home. Can walk everywhere. Antonio thought of everything- umbrellas, washing machine soap, garbage bags, etc. These things were not necessarily in other apartments that we stayed in. Other posters said kitchen chairs were flimsy- not anymore. Someone said outside construction- none now. Barcelona was a great city and we would love to come back to this apartment Thank you

The perfect family apartment in a quiet, central location!

Antonio's apartment couldn't have been more perfect for our family (me, my wife, and our 10-year-old son). It's located in the Eixample, a pretty easy (i.e., 15-20-minute) walk to, among other things, El Born, the Barri Gotic, the Sagrada Familia, and the Ramblas. And for those who prefer the Metro, the Girona stop is literally right across the street (this also makes it very easy to get to the various train stations for those taking a day trip out of town). To us, the location of the apartment felt a lot less touristy than other places we have stayed. Many of the neighborhood restaurants seemed to be filled with locals, and it was nice just to walk around and get a glimpse of daily life in Barcelona as people walked their kids to school, etc. Antonio and his friend Ana were extremely helpful and accessible to answer questions, and Ana provided us great advice about some not-to-miss day trips (including Montserrat, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip). The apartment was very, very clean and well-appointed. It even had a laundry washer, which came in extremely handy! And while the front room experienced a little noise from the street, once you got into the bedrooms in the back of the house it was as quiet as you could ever hope for. We heard essentially no noise at all at night once we all went to bed. (Oh, and all of the rooms have their own air conditioning units to help keep things cool without needing to leave the windows open, which was great!) I would recommend this apartment without hesitation. I seriously cannot think of a single negative thing to say. If we're lucky enough to return to Barcelona in the future, we will definitely stay there again. Thanks Antonio!

Overall our stay was lovely and would stay here again. Our first day the air conditioning unit went out but Antonio got on it and it was repaired the next day. It is the perfect location, within walking distance of everything. The apartment was clean and had everything you need. Loved the laundry line outside the bedroom. It was a sweet place. Will have to say the elevator had a horrible odor.

Sightseeing

We enjoyed our stay. The owner, Antonio was very helpful and helped with maps, obvious locations and restaurants. Be aware that although there is a lift it is very small and operates in a no air through area so can be a little pungent. We opted for the stairs most times, but there are quite a few! We would stay again as it is very central for most things with a metro station just in the cornet with supermarkets and chemist very close by.

Perfect Location

Property was in a perfect location. Walking distance to most sites and metro is located right across the street.
