This property is newly remodeled, well designed, super clean, lots of storage, nice bathroom and linens. The owner has put a lot of thought and effort into a well done property. BUT….the air conditioning and ventilation is turned off until the end of May. What is he thinking! The place is so nice and well taken care of. If I had known there would be no air, I would have stayed elsewhere. We did have a “balcony” and could open those windows, but the hotel is on a small street between tall buildings and it is very noisy and sometimes stinks of marijuana. The front desk is always manned and Alberto was super helpful….he was truly professional and always so patient with our questions. Thank you Alberto!

Good things: staff were friendly, clean, quiet, great location, bathroom and shower. Bad: the room was tiny, beds were very firm, pillows were not great, a/c did not work (which was ok because we didn’t need it too much). Very expensive.

Room was very small. I expected it but still surprised me. Very comfortable though! Front desk was extremely helpful. I was able to store my luggage before checkin and after checkout if I wanted to for free. Then front desk called a cab for me when I was ready to leave. Excellent service! Close to market and shopping.

Hostal Operaramblas is located just off Las Ramblas which is a perfect location for touring the Gothic Quarter and the waterfront. This is a very clean hotel with small rooms that are space efficient. It works really well for touring and enjoying the city and using your room to sleep. Close to Lucier Metro stop. Restaurants and cafes nearby. Front desk provided great assistance with restaurant choice.

Very clean property with staff there all the time and extremely helpful. It was very close to the bustling area of Las Ramblas. It was just about walking distance from the train station but we worked out it was 6 stops on the Metro with no changes so worth taking that, which we did on our return journey!
