Check-in: Check-in was quick and efficient, making arrival hassle-free. Room: I received a complimentary upgrade to the Villa Ambiente. The room was very spacious, beautifully presented, block out blinds and extremely comfortable. The large rainfall shower was a standout feature. Wifi worked well. Breakfast: Breakfast was on the smaller side, but there were enough choices to start the day well. Location: The hotel is perfectly located just across from Basel SBB station, making it ideal for easy transport connections and exploring the city. Overall: A smooth stay with excellent service, a great room, and unbeatable location.

We had one of the larger rooms in the "villa" annex, and it was very spacious and comfortable. Everything was very modern, including window blinds that are operated electrically. It took a bit of experimentation to figure out what all the switches did. The walk-in shower was especially nice.

The hotel is nice and the location was excellent- close to the station and transport hub. The room was clean and large for a single, but the layout was oddly claustrophobic with the bed squeezed up against the wall despite having plenty of room for a better layout. Also the bed was quite uncomfortable, so I didn’t really get much sleep here. I’m sure in a different layout room the hotel would be a great choice.

Excellent choice for a 3 star hotel. I’d say it’s nearly 4. Extremely clean rooms, just off the train station which makes it very convenient for travel around the country. Just be aware that many rooms are overlooking the tram station working 24/7. You might feel a little noisy when you open the window. At the meantime, soundproof is very good and you can sleep well if you close it. Highly recommended.
